This luxury, light filled home is situated at an elevation of 4200’ on a beautiful wooded hillside overlooking Shortoff Mountain. Conveniently located 7 minutes to Main Street Highlands, 10 minutes to Cashiers.

~ Home is filled with fine original art, luxurious leather furniture, antler chandelier and lamps, antiques and rugs from around the world. Authentic Native American Indian trading blankets to snuggle up in on chilly nights.

Refund Policy: We're pleased to refund 90% of your payment if your cancellation is outside 45 days of arrival with a $50 cancellation fee.(For monthly, within 60 days). Regrettably, we can not offer refunds inside 45 days, as it's difficult to rent vacation properties on short notice. However, if we can re- rent the property for the cancelled period, or a portion thereof, we will refund any amounts recovered from the new rental, less the 10% and $50 fee. Prices subject to change without notice. Paid reservations with deposits confirm original price.

If the hot tub is not functioning due to mechanical failure, we cannot give refunds or credits. We maintain our spa but sometimes things happen that cannot be avoided. We will try to repair the spa as soon as possible but this is very difficult on a weekend. A functioning hot tub is not a condition of the rental. We will do everything we can to insure you a great vacation.

We have traveled in many areas of the world and have included some of our treasures for all to enjoy in this very special home Antiques, artwork, and Persian rugs. We love to hike, cook and garden. David's artwork is hung throughout our home.

David and Mary, We had a lovely time and enjoyed the porch and fireplace so much. No one back home believes me when I tell them we had a blazing fire and I was covered up in a blanket. We would still like to slip away in August now that grandkids have a longer break. I had been away from computer since the 14th and we were coming in from Washington and Williamsburg so I had not checked my email. Because we had just left the congestion and noise of the big city, the mtns. were a double blessing. Thanks again. Will recommend your home to others.

Awesome Weekend!!

We had 3 couples celebrating my wife's 40th birthday. What a great house to simply relax and enjoy each other's company. An unbelievable outdoor space. The home is also located between Highlands and Cashiers and made it very convenient for our day trips. David was also great in handling a small issue that we had. We all said we can't wait to do this again.

It was comfortable, convenient, and scenic!

We had great time even though the weather was rainy, cold and icy. We did enjoy 2 days of beautiful snow and the two fireplaces were cozy! The beds were super. We frequently have trouble sleeping away from home but the beds were so comfortable, we slept great every nite. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need and every room had a TV. The Internet connection was especially fast. We are planning to come again! We had a great meal at Wolfgang Bistro.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

My husband and I and 4 of our best friends enjoyed this lovely cabin for New Years. It was everything we wanted the vacation to be from chilling in the hot tub and cozying up by the fireplaces to staying in our pj's or sweatpants all day. It was absolutely wonderful. We will be returning in the near future to enjoy another lovely weekend. Also, it is so close to Main Street, so we were able to go quickly to the grocery store or just take a stroll down main street to enjoy the cute shops. It was a great way to ring in 2016.

Heavenly

Last nights sunset was the perfect ending to a beautiful week. This cabin is fantastic---spacious, well appointed and has a terrific outdoor fireplace. We spent most evenings gathered around a roaring fire.

Wild Pine "Treehouse" is in a small, quiet, private neighborhood. Great for leisure strolls down the various lanes or around the lake down the hills. The trees cooperated this week, presenting magnificent photo ops.

Highlands Wild Pine

A wonderful home. Very centrally located between Cashiers and Highlands. The back deck fireplace and hot tub are the best! So relaxing. We made wonderful meals in the well equipped kitchen every evening and enjoyed them under the pine adjacent to the hot tub! We are counting the days until we can return to this magnificent and tranquil home.

Perfect Home Away from Home

When we walked into the cabin, our 3 girls (15, 12 & 10) were smiles, ear to ear. It was beautiful. Our family truly enjoyed our time in the Highlands and surrounding towns. We were always very happy to get back to the cabin to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day. Our girls were exhausted from the hikes during the day but were all smiles when we got home. The cabin was comfortable and roomy. The outside deck was very enjoyable. The owners were very easy to work with. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We only ate in downtown Highlands twice. Once was at SweeTreats for lunch. I highly recommend. The best sandwich was the Torta de Carnitas. Then for dessert, everybody got the chocolate which was probably the best I've ever had. We also got take out from The Pizza Place. It was also very good (and busy) with friendly service.

For groceries we went to Bryson's Food Store (in downtown Highlands) and Ingle's in Cashiers (they have a in-store Starbucks). Both were very nice. Cashiers also has an extensive Farmer's Market with lots of fresh and delicious local produce, and other locally made goods.
