Exceptional place - great price for marvelous location and views of the Arno, Uffizi, and the Tower . Nice apartment, great for two couples because the two bedrooms are on opposite sides of nice living room which gives extra privacy. Alll 3 rooms have large windows which open like French doors with railing. Two separate bathrooms, good kitchen, washing machine, wifi, elevator. Rachel is great, very helpful, will make advance skip-the-line reservations for popular spots for you. Rachel will suggest you NOT bring a car into Florence. We disregarded her good advice and now we wish we had NOT brought a car - fines for driving in historic areas, tiny streets, garage prices exorbitant, etc.
The Apartment was comfortable and roomy and the location overlooking the Arno river and the Uffizi Art Galery was perfect. It was as easy one block walk to the Ponte Vecchio and 5 minutes from the Pitti Palace and the old city of Florence. The owner was very communicative and always available to answer our questions and make our arrival a perfect experience. I would would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay in our favorite city, Florence.
As soon as we walked in we knew this was going to be a special stay. Rachel met us exactly on time and escorted us up to this beautiful apartment. The pictures show that it is directly across the Arno from the Uffizi, but the actual view of the museum and Ponte Vecchio is simply stunning. The apartment is gorgeous, well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The two bedrooms were very comfortable and the two baths made it perfect for two couples traveling together (or a family). This is an extremely convenient location. We've stayed in six different apartments in Florence and this one is tops. Rachel was very helpful and readily available for any questions. A professionally managed accommodation!
We rented this apartment for us and our friends from the U.K. To meet us here. It was such a great surprise to see that the advertisement of the property was more than you could imagine. It is the most comfortable and perfectly situated property we have ever stayed at in Florence. We have been in Florence for 4 times now and this property by far is the best one.
The manager Rachel is the best when I needed anything all,I had to do is call her and she was there for us. The apartment is so beautiful and lovely the pictures do not do it justice.
We are sad to leave Florence but we will be back.
We stayed here for the month of August and used it as our home base not only to explore Florence extensively but to come back to after taking day or multi-day trips around the northern parts of Italy. This apartment is in a nice location away from the crowds but close enough to walk to everything. Some positive points to be made about the apartment: good location, large accommodations (much larger than it appears in the pictures), good hot water, good water pressure, good WIFI, A/C good (but loud) because the units are stand alone in the rooms not central air, lift / elevator, supermarket right down the street and of course Rachel was very nice, available and informative. Negatives: If you leave the windows open expect to hear a lot of noise from road construction being performed due to a partial collapse of road along the Arno River close to the apartment. Also be warned, electricity is expensive in Florence so monitor your electrical usage. If you like very firm beds you will feel at home.
For you foodies out there we recommend: Mangia Pizza Firenze for the best pizza. Right under the apartment is the Plazzo Tempi restaurant where the locals go to eat. The food is really, really good and the owner goes out of his way to please. Also a must do for a quick 3 Euro sandwich would be I Due Fratellini. For your gelato fix find Vivoli. It was established 80 years ago and the originator of gelato.
All in all it was a very nice stay and we would do it again.....
Stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights
Great apartment and location
View out of window of Ufizzi and Arno river is spectacular
Web page does not do this apartment justice
Will definetly recommend this apartment
