Great House, Great Views, Great Stay
We recently rented the home for a reunion with our college friends. The house was better than expected. It is clean, Updated and has great views. It was truly an awesome place to stay. It would be great for any event. We have even spoken about using it again next year. Peter the owner is great and readily available to help if you need him. I can not say enough good things about this property.
Everything was perfect when we arrived. Peter was always available by phone and answered all our questions. We were blown away with the beautiful views from every window. The house is much bigger
than the pictures. We had four adults and four children 18-5. Everyone had a wonderful time. The
table seats up to 12! Large roomy kitchen and nice sized bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a walk-in
closet and big jacuzzi tub and separate shower! The first thing I did was jump off the dock into the crystal
clear cool waters of the lake-even before I unpacked. Absolute heaven! The kids fished right off the
dock and continually were catching fish (we released them back). They were so excited. Wait till you
relax in the four rocking chairs in the gazebo or walk down to the other deck high up overlooking the lake.
For rainy or cloudy days there is lots to do in nearby towns. TV reception and internet were great. We boated across the lake, played games, oh and the deer. They come by and were eating apples right out
of our hands. The babies were adorable. No one wanted to go home---WE will definitely be back!
I stayed here in July with my wife and two other couples. The house was very clean on arrival. It is very spacious and has great views. The AC worked great, the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was a great extra. We really enjoyed hanging out on the screened-in porch at night. There is plenty of space outside for sitting, there are rockers in a covered gazebo and some picnic benches on a separate deck. There is a small deck overlooking the lake as well as a small pier to launch boats and enter the water from. Overall a really great setup and we had a great time. My only complaints would be that the only usable boat seemed to be the paddle boat. There was a rowboat there that seemed to be rotted and falling apart and another boat that either didn't have any seating (or I just didn't know how to use it). There were also only 3 life vests that I saw. All in all not a big deal but we really would have liked the use of a second boat. This place is great for a nice quiet getaway.
all what you need!!!! PARADISE
Great lake view
The house was very clean and spacious inside, and the view of the lake is wonderful. A great balance of shade and sun from all outside areas. Our favorite hangout was the screened-in porch. There is no yard, rather gravel areas surround the house. On the east side of the house there is a longer, level gravel area where we hit some badminton, and tossed some yard darts we brought along. The upstairs has a small rec room hangout area with foosball (which was a little warped and didn't work correctly), a TV, and an electronic keyboard. The view of the lake from this room is excellent. All 3 bedrooms have horizontal Venetian blinds, but no other windows have curtains or blinds. There is a paddle-boat on the dock and we enjoyed taking that out on the lake. The fishing wasn't great (used all different kinds of lures and bait), but we did catch two small fish, one far out on the lake and another at the dock. We saw deer, bear, which were thrilling to see, and a snake (not so thrilling :). There is a frequently traveled road to the east of the house, and two closely neighboring houses to the west, so it is not as private and secluded as the satellite map suggests (satellite map hasn't been updated to show newer house). Make sure you bring along bath towels, hand towels, bed-sheets, and probably some paper towels, toilet tissue, and garbage bags.
Great house, clean, nice sized bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms.
The place is nicer than it looks in the pictures, will return!
