The home is professionally cleaned before each guest, with “clean”, “spacious”, and “comfortable” being the trend in my 50+, 5-star average, review history on another website where this home has been rented for quite some time before making it available here. A Google search for “The Pueblo House Yucca Valley” will quickly return those listings where you can assess the reviews first-hand.
I hope you will choose The Pueblo House for your trip and look forward to hosting you!
I am an active duty Marine currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I lived in this home for 4 years while stationed at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCCAGC) a couple towns over in 29 Palms. I had great success renting out the extra rooms on another vacation rental site and decided to make the entire home a vacation rental when I received my orders to Okinawa. I'm familiar with the area, festivals, restaurants, etc., feel free to hit me up with any questions and I hope you enjoy my home :)
Pueblo House is a great base from which to explore the Joshua Tree area. The house was comfortable, clean and well maintained, with a nicely equipped kitchen. Its a short drive to the Black Rock Canyon trails in JTNP and we could even do a little stargazing in the backyard! We would definitely stay here again.
House is spacious, clean, comfortable, great yard, great kitchen, we were a large group and we all had a lovely time!!! we highly recommend it.
Christopher is very easy to communicate, efficient, organized, very thoughtful, detailed oriented and responsible. I feels it through my entrie trip staring when I made reservation, prior to my trip, during my stay and payment refund process.
My trip was between 1/12-12/14. I requested a reservation on 1/1. Christopher responded within half hour. The VRBO App of my mobile phone is a wonderful way to stay connected and organized. A day before leaving, I messaged Christopher for the entrance access code. He responded right away. When we arrived late on Thursday night, the house was ready for us. It is clean, charming and welcoming! We cooked some simple warm meal in the kitchen right away. Kitchen is spacious and has all the utensils and evens a K-cup coffee machine with Coffee supplies. The three bedrooms are just right for us. The dining room is simply and functional. The entertainment room has a TV, a laptop and some video games. We use the entertainment room due to weather condition. My 2 teenage boys were very happy with the complementary laptop and WII U games provided. The air condition was very helpful during our stay due to the extreme weather condition to keep us warm and we loved to be around the fireplace next to chimney for the coziness.
The location of the property is very convenient to us as my family plans to visit the Joshua Tree National park. It is 9 miles away from Joshua Tree Nation Park Visit Center and 3 miles away from Black Rock Nature Center. My family loves cooking & eating at home. So being close to grocery store is a plus for us. It is only 2 mile away from the shopping center including Walmart! The shopping center also has many restaurant options if you prefer dinner out.
Once the weather is clear, we headed to the Joshua Tree National park and experience the unique landscape and Joshua trees! Because of the weather, there were snow in the near hill and water stream in the desert! So this was an indeed wonderful experience for our family!
We don't even like the desert but are already planning a trip back just to stay at this house. We came for a wedding on New Year's Eve, we live in Northern California so it was quite a drive to get here, we were exhausted after the 10 hour drive but what a great feeling when we pulled up in front of this home. Everything was perfect when we went inside. We arrived in the dark, but the lights were on inside to welcome us. The temperature was set perfect when we went inside. It was shiny clean, smelled great, everything was labeled and there was directions for everything in the house. This house is kept up very well, the beds were really comfortable, tv's in every room, the kitchen has a Keurig with pods for your coffee in the morning in front of the fireplace, oh yeah their is a gas fireplace that works great and it has perfect instructions to get it started Our only complaint is that it isn't closer to us. The area really surprised me. Like I said we are already planning our next visit to Yucca Valley. We want to go and visit the National Park, find the huge rock that's like 2 stories high, check out Palm Springs, and marvel at all the shaped and sizes of cactus. But more than anything we want to come back and stay at the Pueblo House.
the home owner is very nice and quick answer,
everything are equipped, you can just go without preparing,
we can go walmart within 5min by car.
very quite and safe area.
Spent Thanksgiving weekend here. It was a great spot. House is clean and well stocked. If you have a problem owner and house keeper respond quickly. The living room has plenty of seating and a beautiful fire place for just hanging out and catching up with friends and family. Close to so many fun and interesting sites that you can only find in the desert. Would defiantly rent this property again.
