We live in the mountains in Washington state and come to Kauai to escape the winter as often as we can.

Our lifelong dream has been to own a place in Kauai. We love the laidback pace and natural beauty of the islands. We chose Puamana because it's a quiet, well-managed condo complex, conveniently located near wonderful beaches and shopping.

Our recent visit to Kauai was made very comfortable by this well appointed house. The amenity details appear in other reviews, so it is not necesarry to reiterate. The location in Princeville is great. The area is quiet and pristine. The house is clean and comfortable. There are constant updates via email of island happenings and ocean conditions to keep you safe. We can only say good things about this experience And highly reccomend this location.
We can't recommend this condo enough. We spent 2 weeks here in December 2015 and it was absolutely perfect. For starters, it is extremely clean and well appointed. The condo has been recently remodeled and is beautifully decorated and comfortable. No need to bring anything to this condo except your personal belongings and things you pick up from Foodland! The kitchen is completely, I mean completely, stocked with everything you will need. There are ice packs for the cooler supplied in the outside shed, toaster, hot water pot, blender, hand mixer, beautiful tableware, ice in the freezer, stemware, a grill and all the accessories! Outside in the storage closet there is everything, I mean everything, for the beach! Beach tents, beach umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards, sand mats, chairs so on and so forth. This condo is located at the end of a short pathway away from the parking lot, so it is extremely quiet at night. We slept with our windows open every night and didn't even hear any fireworks on New Year's Eve. The condo has WiFi and a nice TV in every room with enough cable channels to keep everyone in the family happy. We took our two kiddos (6 & 8) with us and can recommend this unit to families. Beds are comfortable, plenty of extra sheets and towels, beach towels are available and the unit is 2 minutes away from the Princeville Shopping center making for quick runs to Foodland and Lapperts Ice Cream Shop. :)
we spent 5 nights in this quiet, crisp clean and remodeled cozy home. all of the rooms have been very nice furnished and were tastefully decorated. the beds are awesome and even tall europeans fit into them :). it is the last home of a complex, which gives you maximum privacy. puanama in general is a safe and quiet community next to the westin resort. Darin is a pleasure to deal with. when we will be back to "chicken island", we will return to this nice and cozy home! thanks for a wonderful vacation, Darin!
Stayed at Puamana for a 10 day vacation with my girlfriend. Very nice and quiet location. Felt very private as it is the end unit in a row and nothing but beautiful plants when looking out every window and private lanais surrounded by tropical plants. Condo looks exactly as it appears in the pictures, is very spacious, and very tastefully decorated in every room. Extremely clean and well kept. Kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you need including things like blenders/mixers/coffee machines/etc. Also there is a very nice clean Weber BBQ we used a few of the nights. All the basics were included (unused) when we arrived like Shampoos/soaps/dishwashing detergents/and even laundry detergent in starter sizes. Plenty of towels for bath and the beach. The owners and management clearly want to make sure everything is provided when you arrive and things like beach coolers/chairs/bodyboards/etc are all available too. Felt like I was at my second home in paradise. Location is perfect for taking walks as there are miles of walking trails all around (including 2 golf courses) and access to the beach is about a 10 minute walk down a fairly steep hill. The princeville shopping center is a 2min drive or a very nice 10-15min walk. The Westin is a 2 min walk up the street and St Regis is about 1 mile up the road if you feel like going out to a ritzy restaurant/bar. Hanalei bay is also very close, maybe a 10min drive and I recommend going to the Hanalei farmers market on saturdays for unbelievable fruits and produce. The north shore is by far the most beautiful area on the island which the best beaches (tunnels being my favorite) and this unit is right where you want to be. I'm looking forward to staying here on our next visit to Kauai. Thank you for making our stay as stress free and MORE comfortable than I imagined!!

This condo was absolutely delightful. I stayed her with my two teenaged daughters and the three of us loved it. The unit was very clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Being able to walk to Anini beach, the sunset from St. Regis hotel, and the Princeville shopping center was Very convenient. The proximity to Hanalei and other parts of the North Shore is a treat. We can't wait to return!!

Since we do not use VRBO/Homeaway online payment system, you will not be charges their booking fee which will save you about $100 compared to other properties that do use this system..
A 3% processing fee will be charged, by Oceanfront Realty, for payment via credit card. Oceanfront also accept a check by mail with no charge.
A refundable $500 security deposit is required. Alternatively, guests can choose to opt out of the $500 refundable security deposit and instead pay $39 for the non-refundable security deposit waiver (covers 3K in accidental damages!). One or the other is required.
