Upstairs living area include 2 bedrooms & 2 baths with full kitchen. Master bedroom has a queen bed, TV and private bath, 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a full size futon couch in the living area with TV & DVD player. Second full bath is in the hallway. Third bedroom with twin & queen size bed, TV & private bath is downstairs.

Great location on the house. Walk to the town for manny funny places. Good distance to see the Island. good with 3 bathrom. Uppstairsbedrom god. Downsatairs need to change the bed and need aircondition. The sleeping sofa in living rom not comfortabel for adult to sleep in and we had asked about that berore renting. So do some new bed and aircondition downstairs then we would love to come back.

It does have a great location, conveniently located walking distance in Kapa'a town. Thank you for your suggestions which we will pass on to the Owner.

Kapa'a by the Sea was truly a perfect central location! The house was well equipped and quiet. We enjoyed the ocean view and walking to shops and restaurants in this quaint, vintage beach town. It was very difficult to leave, and we will return another day.

We had a fabulous family girl's trip. The house was in a perfect location on the island. We loved waking up to the ocean waves and sunrise's. Being so close to the beach and the bike path was wonderful for all of our family members. We also loved being able to walk to restaurants and shopping. The roosters definitely added character and a show occasionally. We were very glad there was AC for the nights. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We hiked several areas, paddle boarded, surfed, walked and jogged the bike path. The best part of the house was sitting on the lanai watching the waves and occasional whales. We would all definitely stay there again.

The property description is accurate, very clean and maintained. Service was non-existent. No one answered the emergency #, no one checked in with us upon arrival. Not enough towels for guests and request for more was denied. No toaster, but a toaster oven older than me (and that's old). The outdoor shower was disabled was no more than a garden hose. For the price I would have expected better customer service. Will not be returning.

Owner's Response: Aloha and thank you for your review of Kapaa by the Sea Beachfront Home. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the location of this home in the heart of "old Kapaa Town". During your stay we did receive a call regarding the gate not closing and this issue was addressed immediately along with a return call with instructions on how to close it (as provided in the check-in instructions). Management also personally went to the home the day after check-in and was able to open/close the gate. The owner serviced the gate, dropped off a new toaster and confirmed that there were beach and bath towels for guest use. Note: We do not advertise this home as having an outdoor shower. Linen/Towel exchanges are available when requested in advance. Mahalo!

The location was perfect and close to lots of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the walking path everyday. View from all patios was wonderful! Property management was responsive when we had the need for a minor repair. There are only two things that could use improvement: 1. the couches and overstuffed chairs were old, lumpy and very uncomfortable. I would recommend that the owner replace them so that there is at least someplace comfortable to sit. 2. There were too few sets of bath towels requiring us to do laundry too often. I would recommend that the owner buy a few more sets of bath towels. Otherwise...the place was truly wonderful!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our 9-night stay in this wonderful family-sized home. It was the perfect location--essentially on the city beach and running/jogging/bicycling path that runs between Donkey and Lygate beaches, but in the heart of Kapa'a just behind Hee Fat's and Olympic Cafe. There was plenty of common space and outdoor decks to accommodate eight of us. The kitchen was serviceable, parking great, beds comfortable, internet and cable working fine, and the sun rose every morning right in front of us. Not a quiet or private location, but clean and well maintained, though not fancy. Excellent customer service and professional management from Garden Island Properties Real Estate. We hope this review is not so positive that we will have trouble securing a rental every year, but the review is deserved.
