We loved the view, the pool and the location! The condo itself could use a good cleaning. The floors were filthy and when I told the front desk attendant he just looked at me. Mop, people! We had to wear our flip flops the entire time or our feet would become black. Disgusting! Why do you charge that cleaning fee??
The condo could also use some updating in the kitchen. The pots and pans were a scratched up mess. Stainless steel would last much longer than non-stick. The furniture was so so. It is very worn. I also thought that there wasn't supposed to be any smoking on the property. You couldn't enjoy the balcony because someone was always out there smoking. Very big disappointment. :( If the owner would take the time to keep up the property it would be well worth the rental price.
If you do rent this property I would bring your own pots and pans and maybe a few cooking utensils if you're planning on cooking!.. Oh yeah and your flip flops!
We weren't sure what to expect since this condo had no previous reviews, but decided to take a chance and reserve it based on the pictures alone. We're not upset at all that we did. The pictures are a very good representation of how it actually is. The condo was clean, had a great view of the ocean and the pool, had a well stocked kitchen, and was nicely furnished. I would have rated it 5 stars except for a couple of issues we came across while there. A few days into our week long stay we discovered that the clothes dryer had to be restarted multiple times before it actually completely dried a load consisting of 3 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash clothes. Also, the locking mechanism on the balcony door leading from the master bedroom had apparently previously suffered from weather/rust damage and would not lock. We happened to find this out during our last night of vacation when a severe storm blew in. Due to high winds the door started opening and slamming shut during the the middle of the night during the brief storm. Fortunately, the winds did not last very long so it only slammed a few times, nothing was broken and we all had a laugh at the timing. These issues have now been reported so they may have already been addressed. In all fairness though, I would not hesitate to reserve this condo (managed by Royal American Beach Getaway) again.
