Here is the bottom line..after about a week of our two month rental we had already rented this home for next year. The location is awesome and fishing off the dock was excellent. The home itself and the furnishings are not new or fancy, but in some ways the clean and casual atmosphere set a good vibe for a relaxed time. The neighbors all around are great! Casual evening parties became the norm and something we looked forward to. The owner and his rental company were very responsive when we had a plumbing problem and all was set in order in no time. We are already looking forward to February and March 2017!

Fun and Fishing in Tavernier

We are delighted to again be back in the neighborhood – we love the environment, the neighbors, the view and all of the activities on the water.

This year, as last year, the cleaning appears to be hit and miss. After unpacking, we spend considerable time vacuuming, scrubbing floors, etc to make it a comfortable place for us to enjoy.

However we were pleased to see a few new touches in the house such as new scatter rugs, new vacuum cleaner, etc.

We are excited for the next three months. The owner and Phoenix Rentals have been very responsive to any concerns we have had.

Retiree's Paradise

I've been retired for quite sometime now and me my wife and a couple of friends decided to stay at a place where we can all go out on the boat and fish. This place was perfect for that. Not only do you have the view of the ocean but it's such a relaxing place to just go out and fish. Fantastic place overall.

Spacious and a great setup for single folks

Second time renting and the few suggestions from the first time were addressed. Great house for our group of mostly single people, lots of beds, room to have your getaway if you want, great common areas if you wanna hang together. The dock on a major channel is a peaceful retreat and lots of sea critters visited - nurse sharks, fish, manatees, skates, etc. Great place for snorkeling too. Convenient to grocery store and fully equipped, extra linens, lots of towels. Look forward to next time renting!

Lots of space, great location on the channel

Lots of space, provided get away time whenever anyone wanted it. Awesome back yard with a dock and the channel was right there. Tons of parking room inside the fence. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen, lots of bath towels. Better instructions for trash pickup (there were several bags on the ground when we arrived and we did not realize they would not be picked up). Dryer did not work very well, probably needs a good cleaning. Will definitely be using again for future vacations1

Good Property, Great Location

First and foremost, I have to acknowledge Janie at Phoenix Rentals/iTrip for being the best and most pleasant rental agent I've ever worked with. She is incredibly quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had leading up to the rental. A+ all the way! Second, the owners were very accomodating in working with my group for a non-standard rental time-frame...thanks much!

We couldn't have asked for a better location for our dive group, as we were going out with Conch Republic Divers, located at the marina just a stone's throw away. Plenty of dining, diving, fishing, watersports rental options located very near the house.

The house itself is represented accurately in the photos and, having 4 single beds, 1 king and one pull-out, it works very well for groups not wanting to share beds with one another. That being said, having been one of the 3 in our group to stay in the seperate lower-level area, I would advise that this space could use some serious TLC/rehab. It has a ton of potential to be a great little space, seperate from the main living area but it needs work (new shower head, new beds/bedding, and just some more creature comforts to give it more of a homey feel rather than a converted storage area feel). The main, upper level living area was MUCH better though, so don't let that scare you off!!!...just know what to expect. My group was a very low-maintenance bunch of guys so we were fine with it.

All in all, awesome location and better option than most of the hotels in the area at a much more reasonable price.

We plan on being back in the future!
