Excellent vacation home

  • 5 of 5

This unit is the middle unit in a one story triplex, with the owners living in the end unit. We really enjoyed that there was an attached garage - you can park inside and enter directly into the kitchen. The dishwasher was very quiet and could be run any time without disturbing anyone; there were more than enough dishes so that you could fill the dishwasher over a couple of days without running out of dishes. The home is in residential neighborhood - the street is a through street, so during morning rush hour there is a bit more traffic than the side streets. The cable is good and the wifi is excellent - besides shows we watched on the tv, we also could stream things on our tablet and laptop. The electric grill on the back patio was great for grilling steaks and fish. The fridge was large enough to hold everything we bought even when shopping in quantity at Costco. If you prefer to walk places, there are several smaller stores and cafes within a ten minute walk and the Safeway is a forty minute walk - but most of the streets do not have sidewalks (I had no problem, just walked facing the traffic).

Two issues that are not negatives, just something to be aware of. If you are there when it is hot (we were there in May and June with many days in the mid 90s), there is air conditioning but it is not central air. It is a large unit below the window in the living room, and some people may consider it loud. To get cool air from the combined living room/dining room/kitchen half of the house, we used the overhead fans in the living room and the master bedroom, plus put the owner's fan in front of the air conditioning unit; we also had two of our own portable fans to push the cooler air into the bathroom and the two bedrooms. After about 9:00 p.m., the air conditioner can be turned off and the open windows with fans made the unit quite comfortable. The second issue is the blinds in the bedrooms do not stop the early morning daylight from coming in; while the light did not bother me (I am usually up by 5:00), my wife likes to sleep later and would need to pull the pillow over her head to block the light.

The location made it easy to access stores and theaters on AZ 69 by going south or by going north to AZ 89A to reach the airport, Prescott or Chino Valley. We recommend this rental to anyone like us seeking to escape the heat of Phoenix which is only about 90 minutes away.

stay in Prescott valley.

  • 4 of 5

The VRBO was comfortable , cozy ,and quiet even though cars would go back and forth on the road during the day.. It's location is close to retail stores, restaurants etc , even a cinema theater. All amenities needed for cooking such as pot pans dishes etc was there, -working dishwasher. It can comfortably accommodate 2 couples. For the price we paid it was a good deal. The owner lives next door and was available to answer any questions we had.

Comfortable beds!

  • 5 of 5

In town for a soccer tournament and I'm glad we chose Juniper Crossing rather than a hotel room. The townhome was the perfect size for my family of 4. The unit was clean upon our arrival and the beds were comfortable with fresh, clean linens. My kids, ages 4 & 11 loved to explore the backyard and loved to lay on the hammock. I look forward to next year's tournament and we will book again!

Wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

This townhome was much more than we expected. The owner was great to deal with, the home was very clean and had everything we needed for a great weeks stay. Everything in the home worked fine and we didn't have any problems. We got to meet the owners and they were great to visit with and wanted to know if we needed anything. We would stay again at this home and will recommend this home to others. The location is great for getting around Prescott Valley and easy to visit Prescott.
