Nice apartment in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

Excellent accommodation, clean, organized and with everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped. Very close to St George Street, where you can find restaurants, shops, etc. Despite of being close to a main street, the apt is located in a calm area, with a nice view of the lake. This apt is on the 1st floor, with a backyard at your door, that was good because I had my dog with me. I would stay again in a future trip to St Augustine.

Not well suited for seniors & their dog to carry up and down 20 oversized wet steps

  • 2 of 5

We had made arrangements for lower apt, but because it was flooded they helped us get into this upper apt. The location was what we were looking for so we could walk to town and that point was a plus and met our needs.

What I found most disappointing was the cleanliness of the apt. It is in dire need of a deep cleaning! The blankets were soiled, furniture not dusted to the point the dust falling off the ceiling fans, not clean behind doors, no bedside tables in one bedroom, ceiling light burned out day 2, fridge & carpets not clean. Fringe on toss pillows falling off which I did repair to prevent being charged for. Towels had raveled edges, and had ink spot on one towel. I travel with my own linen and cleaning supplies so was able to make it right for us mostly. I just hate LATE check in times and paying for post cleaning only to find a place dirty. Basically it was overpriced for what we received! If it had been cleaner I probably would have given more stars. Senior Travelers from Stuart, Florida

Great Location and Amenities

  • 5 of 5

We were very impressed with the luxurious feel of the condo and appreciated all of the historic character that has been preserved. The condo has been updated with a beautiful kitchen and bath. The owner provided everything for our needs, even reading materials. We loved having our own parking spot in such a highly desired area. The property is very walkable to all of the great things in the Plaza area as well as to the trolley. This was a very good bargain with a great location. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to stay in this condo again.

Delightful stay in Saint Augustine

  • 5 of 5

This groundfloor unit is a very nice place to stay for a couple who wish to explore Saint Augustine and the surrounding area. Well situated with a lovely view of the lake from the porch, it is an easy and pleasant ~five minute walk to the downtown area , waterfront and restaurants. When sitting on the porch, the resident owners stopped to chat and were so nice and helpful with local information. The unit is well divided and well equipped for long stays for a couple but would hesitate to use the sofa bed for prolonged stays for more than two adults. There is one off-road parking space. Overall a five star stay despite a couple of internet outages and the continuous working dehumidifier.

Birthday vacation

  • 5 of 5

Although we didn't get to stay in the lakefront condo due to damage from hurricane Matthew we were relocated to a 2nd floor unit, and still had a wonderful time. Condo was well appointed and had everything we needed. Anytime we had a question either Janice or Brandon Parsons were quick to respond. We were there for the wife's birthday the week of Nov. 11-17 and the weather was pleasant all week. First time in St. Augustine and totally enjoyed the history of the town and the friendly people. Looking forward to a return visit sometime in the future and would definitely stay in Janice's condo. Just a short walk to downtown, and St. Augustine is for sure a walking town. Great food everywhere. Recommend the Columbia restaurant and A1A ale house.

What makes this condo unique

Because our condo is located just 2 blocks from the downtown square, we are able to walk to special events such as First Friday Art Walk, the summer series of Concerts in the Park, art and seafood festivals, restaurants, the Nights of Lights Celebration from November thru January each year and many more local events and attractions. The building at Lakeview Condos was built by Henry Flagler in the mid 1800's to house the maids and valets of guests who stayed at his Ponce de Leon Hotel (now Flagler College). In 2005, the building was upgraded and converted to condos. The developer maintained the Olde World ambiance but added New World charm and conveniences. If you stay here once, you will never stay in a hotel or B&B, again, on your future visits to our beautiful City. Time Magazine chose St. Augustine as the "Top 33 Cities to Visit in 2018"

Guestbook comments from the owner
