This newer home is nestled in a wooded lot at the end of one of Bethel's most beautiful scenic roads, Paradise Road. It's a nice walk or drive to downtown Bethel and only 15 min. to Sunday River. Cozy furnishings with enough room to sleep 9 in 3 bedrooms and a loft. There is a master bedroom with a beautiful brass queen bed, a guest room with a twin trundle bed that sleeps two, the kids room upstairs with bunk beds and 2 singles that sleeps 4, and a loft with a double futon that sleeps 2. Partly finished basement has washer and dryer with a separate playroom for the kids. The vaulted great room offers plenty of space to hang out, watch movies on the 50' Plasma TV via the Blue-ray DVD, or the 200+ channel of Roku (we have no cable service - only Internet). You can play Nintendo, board games or simply relax. French doors open up to a large deck where you can smell the mountain air and sip your coffee in the morning.
The area is almost too quiet, so if peace and relaxation is what you seek, this place is for you. If you seek a house close to the fine restaurants of Bethel or big enough to entertain with friends and family, then this place is for you.
The kitchen is equipped to prepare the finest meals, and the large dining table can accommodate 8 adults, plus 4 more can sit at the island counter on stools.
Everyone who stays here says the home is cozy, comfortable and very accommodating - your perfect restful place to relax and unwind.
We are a family of five who reside in Massachusetts. Bethel is our special place we all love for different reasons. Francesco loves all of the outdoor adventures at Sunday River, hiking Table Rock, and jumping off Frenchmen's; Patricia enjoys the fresh air, Full-Moon dinners at North Peak and star gazing; Sofia comes to snowboard and swim at the 'S pool'; Livy looks forward to the skiing and summer drive-in movies; Crissy loves it all! But, the greatest benefit of our time in Maine is the family bonding.

Our home in Maine is located minutes from downtown Bethel which offers great dining, convenient shopping, and a sense of community. The views from the top of Paradise Road truly remind us that this is 'God's country.' The open floor plan and house furnishings makes time together comfortable and cozy.
Our favorite part of the house is experienced each morning as sunshine pours through the two-story wall of windows into the great room. Sipping coffee in the warmth and cheer of the sun while viewing the natural beauty of the wooded yard motivates us every day to make the most of Maine's outdoor play land.
Great, well-stocked home with plenty of room for a big family stay or a small family ski weekend. Lots of games, movies, wifi for unwinding after a day on the slopes and a very responsive owner.
Great home in great location. Very clean and well maintained home. Short easy trip to Sunday River an local restaurants. Great layout for single family or a couple families and kids loved the playroom! Would highly recommend a stay here.
An immaculately maintained, tastefully decorated yet practical home that made our ski vacation all the more enjoyable. Located only four minutes from all Bethel amenities, yet its quiet setting provided sense of beauty and calm after busy day. Conveniently located off of well plowed road, set up for easy gear management through use of lower level entrance and amenities of washer/dryer, game room, and very functional kitchen provided the sense and pleasure of a place to come home to. Large enough to accommodate a family yet properly sized to promote close group gatherings. Highly recommended.
We stayed here for Christmas vacation and absolutely loved it. The home is very cozy, clean and close to everything in town. We actually preferred to be close to all of the amenities of the Bethel Village than be stuck up on the mountain with limited restaurant choices. Supermarket, video rental, restaurants, RiteAid, etc. are only 2 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again.
