        Location Type

          • Mountain View
Stunning landscape featuring a distant, but looming limestone cliff. Depending on the season and time of day, it turns white, yellow, pink or lavendar. It plays hide and seek in fog, rain, or snow. And it is frequently aligned with single or double rainbows in the summer. It is a constant sentinel of the valley.
          • Rural
Very quiet, almost never a vehicle on the road coming in.
          • Water View
A little path leads from the cabin to Jim Creek. Across a charming foot bridge, you'll find a wonderful walk through a spruce forest and around the pond which is complete with a bench for resting. Jim Creek tumbles along incessantly and attracts a wide variety of wildlife and birds.

The views were amazing from the front porch and we enjoying doing some short hikes around the property. We also loved the big fireplace! Thank you again- this was the perfect place for our ‘babymoon’!

Sorry about the internet, but I'm happy to say that I'm writing this note from the cabin right now as a test -- just got the Wi-Fi extender up and running again last night and it's working in the cabin right now -- very pleasant up here in the cozy loft surrounded by the fall color and fog!
