Totally remodeled with all new furnishings this home offers, 5 bedrooms with a queen size beds, 2 of them have bunk beds and cribs, 2 full bathrooms, large and cozy living room with a fire place and 60' TV, spacious and inviting dining room, well designed and fully equipped kitchen. This home is perfect up to 16 people for family reunions, weddings and vow renewals, business conferences, church retreats, and your opportunities for adventure around every turn are endless!!! Off street Parking for 3 cars. This home has its own security system. Bring the food and cook your own food in our kitchen and you could stay and have a great time without leaving the property. We had a group of 13 and fit comfortably in the house. Merle was ready with fantastic suggestions for us. We had a great time and were able to fit in lots of adventures. The location could not be better. With all the trolley's around, most of time you don't even need your car. Life was good in Niagara! Thank you.

Life was good at Life is Good Vacation House

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay than Life is Good. We loved the house and location. We had everything we needed from enough linens to a well equipped kitchen. One suggestion is to get a coffee maker that shuts off after 2 hours. With a house full of people on vacation it's easy to forget to turn it off when you go out to enjoy the area.

We really enjoyed the fenced in yard!! We had two young children with us so we spent time in the yard each day.

It would be helpful to have more information provided about the street parking regulations at the front of the house.

Merle and Halina were wonderful hosts. They were helpful and accommodating from start to finish!! Thank you!

Very Nice!

The property and home was in great condition and met our needs perfectly as we were a group of 9. The house was clean and up to date with appliances and several a/c units that were able to meet the demand during some very warm days. The internet was weak and didn't work at all when more than two people were accessing. But, really other than periodic checking of email we were out and about most of the time.

One disparaging note is we were misinformed regarding the street parking and which side to use the first night we were there. One of the cars did get a parking ticket. There are no signs on the street explaining this and the owners during the walk thru thought it was one side, when in fact it was the other.

Lastly, there is a carpet in the downstairs bedroom that we moved into the closet because it has a urine smell. We did replace it before we left. It might need a cleaning.

Overall, the owners were timely, informative and helpful in getting us acclimated to the house and area,

Old Historic House where the price is right

My entire family (16 of us total) stayed the weekend in Halina and Merle's house, and while the neighborhood and much of Niagara Falls seems largely left behind, their house offered the perfect respite after a couple long days touring the sites. It enjoys a great location within close proximity to the Falls and downtown, although I'm not sure you'd want to walk there in the evening.

A couple things were missing like the outdoor grill and some basic home supplies (trash bags and paper towels were in short order), and the sheets were a little scratchy, but the price was right and the owners were nice to accommodate an early arrival. All in all a good value deal.

Beautiful house, the nicest owners, but near rough neighborhood

The house was awesome, modernized and clean. The location is within walking distance to the casino, the few strip of bars they have and even Canada! There's a grocery store and liquor store as well that is close by. The owners were so sweet! Only issue is that it's on the border of a tough rundown neighborhood that is scary to walk through at night

Niagara Gorge Trailhead Center

Niagara Falls hiking starts at the Discovery Center’s Niagara Gorge Trailhead Center, gateway to the best hiking and biking trails in the region. The local Gorge Trail System offers challenging sections of steep stairs to climb and rocks to scramble over. Guided Niagara Falls hiking tours are offered during the summer season (nominal fees are associated with these tours).

Great Gorge Scenic Overlook Hike

Begins at the Trailhead Building and is an easy one-hour hike. Age Requirement: None

Upper Great Gorge Hike

Begins at the Trailhead Building and follows the Great Gorge Railway Trail for an easy two-hour hike. Age Requirement: None

Devil's Hole Rapids and Giant Rock

A $500.00 deposit in cash only in US funds will be accepted. Damage Deposit will be returned in 24 hours after THE RENTER's departure from the property. Please list all members of your Group in the table below. Only persons listed on this agreement may occupy the property at any time. Any person or persons on property not on contract will terminate rental contract. Any people found to be on property not listed on rental agree will result is loss of damage deposit. There are local Codes and Laws that need to be followed. Check-in and Check-out times are as follows check-in is between (3:00
And 7:00 PM). If you are unable to make on time we would need to know 7 days before check in and late check in fees may apply. We will not expect calls on day of check in if you are going to be late WE WILL NOT LET YOU IN, IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT. If special arrangements are not made this times must be firm. Check-out time is 10:00 AM, our cleaning crew will be at Property at 10:10 AM. If the cleaning crew cannot enter property, $100.00 will be deduced from Deposit. This is very important to us to have this time to clean and make house ready for next Guests.
THE OWNER will provide THE RENTER with water, heat, electricity & linens. All utilities are included in the total rental price.
Smoking is not permitted inside the House. Pets are not permitted. NO EATING IN BEDROOMS. Keep all windows closed. If more people are found to be on property than in contract will be “Terminated Immediately". No excessive noise, if Police are called to home Rental Contract is "Terminated Immediately".
The cost of any unreasonable damage caused by THE RENTER will be deducted from the damage deposit.
THE RENTER will be responsible for any damage caused in excess of the damage deposit and will be invoiced separately. If no Claims damage deposit will be voided and returned to THE RENTER by THE OWNER after the owner/caretaker has inspected the property.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
