Review of the house:
Our family had rented this house for a wedding at the Oyster Farms, down the road. The house was beautiful and we had 9 adults sleep there comfortably. There was plenty of room and the house had everything we needed, especially when it came to kitchen appliances. We did have an issue with the wifi but someone came to set up a new router right after I called - and then it worked perfectly. The decks were HUGE and perfect for sun rises and sunsets. I highly recommend this house, it was perfect.
Other Cape Charles Info:
I would definitely recommended renting golf carts as it's the easiest way to get around in Cape Charles. Everything is super close but because it's such a small town, everything was super crowded and everything closes super early! I am not sure if it's because it was Memorial Day weekend and the first weekend of summer, but we had to wait in hour long lines to be seated and then waited even longer to order because the kitchens were so backed up. And when we tried to skip the bigger restaurants, we realized that no "quick bite" places were open. Just a heads up for anyone traveling to Cape Charles - it's a beautiful sweet bay town but definitely a slower pace (coming from a DC girl). Just something that I wasn't aware of when I was making the trip. Still a great bay town to visit!
Thank you for letting us stay!
