The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for six people.

  • 4 of 5

This is a very quiet neighbor hood. The streets are great for quiet walks. The beach area is also quiet since it is a state park. Walking to the beach is easy and free and you can go any time. Parking at the beach has a daily fee for a car load. On nice days the beach gets very full but is pleasant. No pets are allowed on or near the beach ever. So if you bring the dog it will stay at the house. There is a nice snack bar at the beach which is the only retail around. There is no commerce along the shore road by design. No coffee shops no boardwalk no stores no souvenirs no entertainment whatsoever. There are a few small convenience stores, pizza, diner, wine shop nearby on the highway away from the shore area. Bigger stores are a few miles away in either direction including a big grocery and ice cream restaurants and go carts. We loved the kabuki restaurant for a birthday. They bring you a flaming firework on ice cream. It was awesome. The look and feel of the area differs from other shore areas like cape cod or New Jersey in that you won't see a lot of shops full of boogie boards and tee shirts etc. it is more quiet and low key almost rural feeling. The property is clean and nice and comfortable and very well equipped. The owner obviously takes care of the place and goes out of the way to make sure you have supplies. We loved it and had a very relaxing week.

Well maintained and great deck in the back

  • 5 of 5

The property is well maintained and a short walk to Scarborough Beach. The neighbors were very friendly, they invited Carol and I over for a cook out. I enjoy cooking outside and was disappointed in the condition of the grill. I spent several hours cleaning it, so we could use it. No other concerns, we recommended you to our best friends and they rented the last week in August this year.

Property is well maintained and 5 minutes from the ocean.

  • 5 of 5

House was clean and well equipped the short walk to the ocean is great. The only concern is I enjoy cooking on a grill, I spent 2 hours cleaning the grill before I could cook on it. Cleaning person should check the grill for cleanness. Otherwise this property is great and I would recommend to friends. The description is accurate,

Nice but not really handicap accessible

  • 3 of 5

While the house is nice and convenient to the beach, if you are really handicap you can not even get in the house. You can not get on to ramp to get in the house because of large bump at the bottom and if you make it over that, the back door the ramp leads to isn't wide enough for a wheelchair. No handicap rails at the toilet, large bump to get into shower, doors that you have to turn around in your to close. We did like that there was a sidewalk all the way to the beach that is just wide enough for a wheelchair

Owner's Response: Good Afternoon! I apologize for the inconvenience. This home was recently purchased with the ramp, so we assumed that the door was wide enough. We have removed the handicapped accessible references from the listing. Thank you. Sincerely, Nancy Colby Property Manager Munroe Real Estate Group
