Summary: a comfortable home away from home to rest, read and enjoy a prepared meal. This centrally suite is very popular among tourists as we well as those visiting friends and family.
The listing is new on homeaway/vrbo but we have plenty of reviews from guests who've stayed with us since 2011. Scroll below and click 'about the owner' to read some of the comments.
Important - please inquire before making a reservation:
* We try to update availability regularly but we always want to know a little about our guests(s) so tell as a bit about yourself and the purpose of your visit.
* Families with kids - please take into account the suite is not child proof.
The suite was renovated in February 2014 (new floor throughout, bathroom and windows). Also, the TV is 40' flat screen one and you can lounge on the new sofa and watch Netflix.
A comfortable desk chair is available for you if you plan to work or spend time in front of a computer.
When the weather is nice you are welcome to enjoy the serenity of the patio (please see pictures) and use the gas barbecue.
You will feel at home at this centrally located, quiet and privately accessible fully furnished suite.
This single bedroom suite is ground level and is full height (taller guests will appreciate it is not a basement). It includes a heated full bathroom, well equipped kitchen, dining area and a living space with working desk/chair, sofa and flat screen TV with cable service. The roomy bedroom has a queen size bed (med-hard mattress) as well as plenty of closet space for your clothing. Both bedroom and living room have climate control thermostats.
For parties of three guests we can provide an additional mattress to be placed in the living room.
This suite is used frequently by family and friends, therefore it is complete with the appliances, cooking utensils, various supplies (coffee, tea, sugar, spices), fabrics etc.
We are also happy to have regular visitors from both Canada and abroad who use this when visiting family. It is highly popular among visiting parents and grandparents!
■ Extra amenities: laundry washer/dryer for moderate use, wired/wireless internet, tv/cable tv, sheets, towels, iron & ironing board and hair dryer.
■ Location: very central, quiet and safe neighbourhood... Within minutes of walking out the door you can be shopping on trendy main street, sipping coffee or feasting on some of the best sushi and dim sum this city has to offer. We'll gladly provide you with recommendations.
■ Transportation: it's a short drive downtown or walk half a block to a bus that passes every few minutes and get to downtown quickly and easily. A bus line to UBC is only a few blocks away. Getting from YVR airport is an affordable 20min. taxi ride ($28 standard fare) and public transportation is also possible.
■ Parking: ample unrestricted street parking is available on the street.
We are both educated professionals in our mid 40s, Adi works in high tech marketing and Ronit is an independent healthcare and education professional. We love traveling though don't always have the time.
Adi & Ronit purchased this apartment in 2004
Very central and convenient. Has everything you need to feel at home, spacious enough for your privacy.
Rented by the owner who live right above. The suite was renovated mostly to serve for visiting friends and family.
wonderful apartment, exactly as described.Excellent communication with two lovely hosts. As good as anywhere we have stayed previously and thoroughly recommend. We would definitely want to stay here again when back in Vancouver
The suite is perfect for a couple, well organized and easily connected with downtown from a bus stop just two minute away by walking. The owners are very nice and gave us good suggestions for our visit to the Rockies.
Kitchen is complete with everything you may need; there is even a pc station and a printer that we used once. There is also a backyard complete of BBQ that we had no time to use, too many places to visit in and around town...
Thanks to Ronit and Adi for putting us at ease.

My fiance and I stayed at the suite and we were immediately struck by how well it is kept, and in such a nice area too. It's comfortable, has plenty of amenities, and is in a great location to get out and about in the city.
Adi and Ronit were extremely helpful and communicative from booking through to checking out.
We would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay - 5 stars!
We loved staying there. The unit was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed meeting the owners and had a good time. Looking forward to staying there next time.
My husband and I stayed in June when sadly the weather was not good in Vancouver but the accommodation was just what we needed. The apartment is spotless and well equipped with all you need for catering ( we were v lazy and cooked nothing at all except coffee!)
There is even a computer and printer if you want to use that. Lovely deep bath and soft towels in the bathroom and comfy bedroom with a good firm mattress.
Shops and restaurants and bars are only 10 min walk away and the number 3 bus on Main Street will take you into the city. You can walk if you are feeling energetic.
There is also Queen Elizabeth Park if you walk the other direction which is quite pleasant for a wander.
Adi and Ronit are friendly and welcoming hosts and live in the house above the apartment but the apartment is totally separate with its own entrance. A nice touch was the sturdy umbrella that we definitely made use of.
This suite was small but comfortable and had all the amenities needed. The location was central, which made it easy to get around.
I was very pleased with Adi and Ronit's apartment. It was very tastefully decorated, and well-stocked with everything needed for my visit. I will definitely stay here again when visiting my Vancouver relatives.
The suite is situated in central vancouver very close to main street which acts as the unofficial east-west divider and is bustling with activity, restaurants, shopping etc. The neighbourhood is residential and very safe and quiet, only half a block from a key street (fraser) with public transit going downtown and a few blocks from a bus line that can take you through the west to ubc or to the east all the way to burnaby.
