Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Nick and Linda's cabin was perfect for our family getaway! We spent a week with our girls, 3 and 5. The lake was a constant source of fun - they provide paddle boats and a row boat as well as life preservers. We paddled out to the island one day for a big adventure. Short drive to Lake Michigan, many orchards, lots of good fishing in the local rivers. Very quiet in the fall, it was a great place to relax. Cabin had everything we needed, even air conditioning! There is plenty of room inside for poor weather, and lots of room to spread out outside. Enjoyed a few fires and roasted marshmallows, napped in the hammock, ate dinner at the picnic table every night and enjoyed coffee on the deck. We'll be back! Thanks for a great stay!!!

Heaven !!!!

  • 5 of 5

The house is very clean and you can find everything you need (to cook, to play, to enjoy outside...). The place is very beautiful and quiet, we enjoyed being lazy, the paddle boats, the sun and the lake. We stayed two days in the place without visiting cause it was just so relaxing and cool to enjoy to be here. The house is very big with a lot of bedrooms and we can easily imagine how fun it may be to come with friends, children and family !!!! The owner is very nice and kind and you can feel how much love he put in this house; we sure would adore to come back for a new stay !!!!! We're french et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la tranquilité des lieux, la beauté du site, la maison très bien équipée et la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Nick !! Thank you et MERCI pour tout Nick !!...See you soon..;-))

Great cottage for family summer vacation

  • 5 of 5

Cottage is exactly as described. Had fun fishing, swimming and relaxing. Whoever designed this cottage did a great job. They used all extra space i.e closet under steps and storage on living room side of kitchen counter.

Everything needed to enjoy the sun and yard was available. We are considering using cottage again next summer

What a great time we all had! The house was very nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with anything that you would need for cooking and eating. Nice to know for next time so we don't have to pack so much. The house came with a boat and two paddle boats which were a lot of fun. There is plenty of parking space for the cars. The lake was beautiful for boating and skiing. Mornings and nights so peaceful. There's a place for a fire and plenty of chairs so that's another thing you can leave at home. The one bedroom has a balcony with a table. Nice for morning coffee. Nick, the owner, so nice and made sure we had phone numbers in case we had any problems or questions. Had a nice breakfast at the Irons Café and ice cream at Super Bad (I think that was the name). We pretty much just stayed at the lake because we were having so much fun.

Relaxing, peaceful, waterfront setting

  • 5 of 5

Very clean, peaceful setting, everything needed is already in this cottage. Access to the waterfront from home is close and level. The owner quickly answered all questions, and was available when needed. We highly recommended this place for your next vacation get away!
