|Minimum Stay||30 nights|
The Stone Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood in the City of Whitehall, at the end of a tree lined cul-du-sac and offers a beautiful view of the White River and beyond! The one room set up includes a dining space with a completely modern and furnished kitchen, a living space, first floor bathroom and a sleeping loft. Beds sleep 4 and the futon in the living area can be used for extra sleeping space. We have a unique look with personal touches to create a cozy, comfortable feel.
The cottage is a short walk to downtown Whitehall with its many shops and summer activities, and a short drive to White Lake and Lake Michigan beaches! A perfect spot for a getaway; whether relaxing around the fire ring in the back yard for the evening, or taking in all the White Lake Area has to offer!. Month long rentals are preferred, and depending on availability, consider us for a long weekend or week-long stay. ( minimum of a one week stay during June, July and August)
The cottage was a very relaxing and cozy place to stay. Pictures describe cottage accurately. Everything was clearly updated recently. The description said it was "away from it all" - there are definitely neighbors that can see into the house but this didn't cause a problem. Nice view overlooking the fen in the backyard. It was great having a fire pit and charcoal grill there.
The nice beaches were a bit of a drive and not much to do in town, but I still recommend the stay. A short drive to white lake and to the grocery.
Jeff - property manager - was great in his communications with me.
The Stone Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood in the City of Whitehall, at the end of a tree lined cul-du-sac. The cottage sits on a bluff over looking the White River in a yard of mature trees and offers a secluded, private location with the convenience of being within walking distance to downtown Whitehall and a short drive to Montague.
Some great places to check out are the Saturday Farmer's Market and Lipka's Old Fashioned Soda Fountain, both in Montague, and the many gift and antique shops in the area!
Lake Michigan Beaches are a short drive, and White Lake has a public boat landing. The Hart-Montague Bike Trail also winds through the area.
