Great place for one or two couples. Very cost-effective in a convenient area of uptown New Orleans. Walking distance to world-famous Tipatinas nightclub. The fun place to be during jazz Fest. Always world class music.

Quiet neighborhood

The home has the potential to be a very charming home. It is lacking attention to detail. We asked the host ahead of time if the property had a coffee maker and coffee and we were told that it had both. The morning after our arrival we found the container that is suppose to have coffee completely empty. We also realized pretty quickly that there was a shortage of toilet paper. We had an issue with the front door combination lock not working. We got back to the house around 10:00pm and the lock was not working. We called the owner and he seemed annoyed that we were locked out. He initially told us to call a locksmith. When we told him we were not the owners and might have an issue with a locksmith he said he would call. We ended up having to but a business card near the door latch to get the combo lock to stop making noise and allow us to re enter the combo code. I would recommend that the home be fully stocked with basic supplies.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay (we stayed one month)

The place had a very large family/living room. We had several dinners in the dining room which accommodates 6 to 8 people. Beds were comfortable and kitchen provided sufficient space to prepare several dinners. The landlord was very accommodating for our different requests. There were always parking spaces available on a quiet street. Sitting on porch at dusk with an adult beverage was very relaxing. Neighbors were very cordial. The house is within walking distance to Magazine Street. We would stay here again.

Great 2-bedroom place to stay that is close to everything but in a calm neighborhood! Thank you!

Thanks for a great 2-bedroom place to stay in a good location! In a quiet neighborhood - a short walk to Magazine street, a good Uber or bus ride to downtown. Spacious living room and dining room with a lovely chandelier. We could hear cars and trucks going by on Tchoupatoulas, but it wasn't loud or disturbing. Nice neighbors. Nice to have 2 restrooms and 2 bedrooms. Thanks for your responsiveness with our questions! And for sharing this home with us!

Vacation in New Orleans

This location was perfect for us. The house was clean, had everything we expected including the New Orleans charm. We walked to shopping and dining on Magazine Street and Tchoupitoulas. We will stay there again when we go.
