Very convenient and good space. A bit grubby and bathrooms are very marginal. Whole place could use a VERY deep clean. Also, need more towels. 6 towels for a 3 bedroom two bath apartment is not enough. Zero toiletries so make sure you bring your own.

Great location. Stephen- our New Orleans contact was super repsonsive to our early check in and late check out. Six of us ages 22-88 stayed here and enjoyed the kitchen area for meals and card games!

Pros and cons

The house is in a very good neighborhood. The trolly runs right outside the door making it very convenient to get around town. Very nice sitting porch. The beds were comfortable and the kiichen was well equipped. The place was not particulary clean, it needs a thorough cleaning. The blinds on a few of the windows were broken and there were a few cracked windows!

Old School New Orleans

Quaint old 4-plex in the Carrollton neighborhood across from Palmer Park. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. You will live like a local, very close to street car. My Dad came with us. He lived a block away 60 years ago, and he said it was like going back in time. we loved it.

Very good trip

I traveled with 2 other people. We each had our own bedroom. There was more than enough space for us and this place could definitely accommodate a few more people. The bedroom in the back of the apartment with the bathroom was very warm compared to the rest of the apartment despite having the air on. The shower pressure in the hallway bathroom seemed to be very low. Other than this, we had no other complaints. Our group traveled here for the Essence Music Festival. The location was very convenient to the Superdome, Convention Center as well as the French Quarter. Most of the Uber rides from this apartment to just about anywhere was within a $8-12 dollar range. Its about $33 each way for the airport. We also took the very convenient street car to a nearby restaurant, Live Oak Cafe, where we enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits. The porch was a nice spot to relax while we were at the apartment during the day. The apartment had everything that we needed (linens, dishes, extra pillows and blankets). All of the beds were very comfortable as well as the sofa in the living room. Watch your step with entering the kitchen! There is a little bit of a rise in the floor between the hallway and the kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay. This is our 2nd year staying in a property owned by this particular owner and next year, we plan to rent another property with this owner. Outside of the New Orleans very hot and humid July weather, we had a great time! Can't wait until next year!
