Gracie's Mountain Cabin is a beautifully decorated two-story log sided cabin high in the Smoky Mountains, with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Located less than 2 miles from Soco Rd. (hwy 19) in Maggie Valley. Surrounded by woods, this cabin offers plenty of serenity and privacy(though you may spy and elk or two wandering in the area!) We do recommend four wheel drive vehicles in the winter months.
The second story open loft features a king bed with attached bathroom, including a walk-in shower. The main floor has a master suite, with a queen bed, television and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The third bedroom has a second queen bed,a flat screen tv and is next to the main hallway full bathroom with tub/shower combo.
Savor your morning coffee or simply relax in the rocking chairs on the covered wrap around porch and enjoy the view from the 3500 foot elevation. With higher elevation comes a cooler temperature, so open the windows and enjoy the sounds of the rushing creek below.
Gracie's Mountain Cabin has all the comforts of home- Wi-Fi, central heating & air, a beautiful gas fireplace with a stone surround and three HDTVs with satellite service. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the utensils and equipment needed to cook or grill delicious meals. We supply all the towels and linens for your comfort.
Gracie's Mountain Cabin is a quick drive to all that Maggie Valley has to offer; great restaurants, shopping, several golf courses, skiing, snow tubing, museums, and festival grounds. You can visit the Maggie Valley website at http:/www.maggievalley.org to find a complete listing of upcoming festivals as you prepare for your visit.
You are only minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The Cherokee Indian reservation is just a short drive over the mountain, with Harrah's Casino. Unto these Hills, Santa Land, shopping, fishing, museums and more. A longer 45 minute drive can satisfy thrill seekers with white water rafting down the Natahala River or for a more relaxed outing, you can head into Asheville to enjoy The Grove Park Inn and The Biltmore Estate.
Whatever you plans are, Gracie's Mountain Cabin is the perfect spot to lay your head.

The cabin is well appointed and the kitchen well equipped. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace on chilly mornings and evenings. The view from the porch is beautiful. We were a bit early for fall color but watched one side of a mountain change daily. The gravel road and driveway are steep. (It is truly on the side of a mountain) so caution is required.
Rhona is wonderful to work with.
I had spend three nights with my other two brothers and their wife in the cabin. It was a perfect place for us because the cabin have three bed rooms and three baths and we don't have to share the bath room with each other. The cabin is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed the kitchen very much. We cooked our dinner every day there. It is truly a home away from home.
We had sort of a mini family reunion, my brother , my sister and my husband and I. We have always loved Maggie Valley and I am so glad that we found this rental. It had everything that we could ever need to be comfortable, morning coffee on the deck with that view, what more could you ask for! We will be back.
My brother, father and I rented this cabin for our annual first weekend of college football trip. This cabin was quiet, has a great view off the porch and out the windows and is just what we were looking for. Great kitchen that opens to the den and very comfortable bedrooms. It was clean, very well decorated and was what we expected from the pictures.
We talked about making it our annual spot for the trip.
The home was located in a quiet, out-of-the way location, yet still close to town. The home was stocked with modern appliances and everything we needed to prepare meals, and sufficient space to enjoy each other's company without feeling cramped. I would recommend this property!
Our family truly fell in love with this cabin from our very first day. Excellent craftsmanship, modern, extremely clean, fantastic morning views through the trees. Very secluded, which we all wanted, yet close enough to Ashville, Cherokee and National Park. The owners thought of everything for their guests to make them feel like at home, from every kitchen utensil and appliance to internet, washer/dryer and even a grill. However, I think the grill should be replaced, we did have some issues and didn't use it after day 1. As mentioned in the cabin description, driveway is a excessively steep (~20% grade), but with our Jeep, no issue at all. Though there is no room, a fire pit would just put this place over the top, but I will still give it 5 stars. Would definitely return, my kids miss the place already.
Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrah's Casino, Santa Land, Fishing, Shopping, Festivals, Gem Mining, Hiking, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Waterfalls are within 40 minutes, Gatlinburg is about an hour drive, Asheville - 45 minutes, Biltmore Estate-35 minutes.
