Overview

About the property

Our family's beloved apartment - part of what was once a castle - is recently refurbished with fresh paint and new furnishings. It has two bedrooms, a large and welcoming kitchen/living room, one bath, and our favorite space, the outdoor patio with a beautiful view of the Apuan Alps. Our patio is unique in our neighborhood, as it was once the base of a tower. This outdoor space has an awning for comfortable dining outside at any time of day. With high ceilings and thick stone walls, this apartment has a feeling of ageless serenity.

There's a little village with shops at Soliera, public transport very close by, and the house is very near to Cinque Terre and to Pisa; it's about one and a half hours to Florence; to Lucca; or to Siena. The house is 'new' on the rental market so it's listed at a low rate, take advantage of this while it lasts!

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was clean and well-maintained. It is a mixture of rustic architecture and modern conveniences. The good wifi reception was appreciated. It was fantastic to wake up every morning, sit on the balcony and have breakfast while admiring the view of the mountains. The evenings aspect of the scenery was totally different to the mornings as we sat eating our evening meals watching the colours of the mountains change with the setting sun.

We were met by Mirjam who welcomed us to the village and showed us around the apartment. She was in touch with us during our stay, making sure that everything was OK.

We are already planning our next trip and hope that we can stay in the apartment again. We would recommend this as a great place to stay.

An amazing property with a view that is unforgettable

  • 5 of 5

An apartment created from an old castle. It has everything that you would need in a home. We were able to cook and relax and enjoy the stunning view. The location seems remote but was an easy access to all the attractions that one would want to visit.

Mirjam was very helpful and friendly. Look for the Spring water dispenser at the parking lot where Mirjam first meets you. 5 cents a liter and delicious. I look forward to staying there again.

Spectacular view of the Alps

  • 4 of 5

We just returned from our two week memorable stay in Soliera Village. The balcony had a view that one dreams about. The apartment was very accommodating We used it as home base to travel to such places as Cinque Terra, fishing villages of Lerici and Levanto, Parma, Florence and castles in Fosdinova and Pontremoli.

A taste of Tuscanny !

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I recently stayed here and were delighted with the house. It has spectacular views from the patio/balcony, and the inside is decorated super nice. It is very thoughtful, and has everything you need for a home away from home.It is what I imagined an Italian house would be like .The price is a great bargain. There are several open air markets a short drive away.WE went to them all and bought local cheese meat and produce and prepared memorable dinners in the over the top kitchen.MY favorite part of my stay in Europe was snorkeling in the little village of Riomaggiore. We made several day trips to cinque terre and it is only a short drive . I would definitely stay there again .

prachtig huis op mooie locatie

  • 5 of 5

Very nice, clean and complet appartment with a beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

In March we stayed for a week in this lovely apartment.

The apartment is quite large, very clean and has more then enough space. The kitchen is the central place of the house en is very complete. The appartement has a very nice traditional Tuscany atmosphere.

We especially loved it to have breakfast outside at the large and sunny terrace/ patio. It has such a nice view!

In less than half an hour you'll reach the hills of Cerreto for a beautiful hike or walk. On your way to Cerreto you'll cross a restaurant "Funicolare" were you can have an excellent lunch! And in less than a 45 minute drive you'll be a at the Cinque Terre. So the appartment if very well placed in a nice small typical Italian village.

We had a lovely time and will be back next spring!
