Perfect Vacation

  • 5 of 5

It was the perfect choice for our first visit to Sardinia. We were warmheartedly welcomed and found it a brilliant place to relax and discover the beaches nearby. The houses are well-equipped, modern and really lovely and show the love for perfection and details. Everybody has their own private outside sitting area. The view and the surroundings are great. The owner had self-made peach jam and sugo as a welcome gift which tasted delicious.

Highly recommendable, a place worth visiting again.

Very nice spot and apartment

  • 5 of 5

We spent a beautiful week in Sardinia in May 2014; and we would like to highly recommend this apartment to everybody looking for a quiet, peaceful and stylish place to stay. The location is picture-perfect, with very nice views in the beautiful Sardinia landscape. The apartment is very clean, modern and well-equipped. The owner is always there if you need help, but at the same time respects your privacy. Beautiful garden and surroundings for breakfasts and dinners outdoor. Car definately recommended. Ideal for individual tourists, surfers, bikers, hikers, etc.

One of the most beautiful spots in the world!

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a peaceful place where everything that meets the eye is beautiful and magical, you will find it in Borgo Lianti!

We spent two weeks in house 4 with four little children and we all fell in love with this wonderful place: the beautiful garden, the very clean and well-equipped house, the romantic outside showers, the hammocks, the covered terrace, the wild rosemary and salvia, the stunning view of the sea and of course the two friendly dogs!

The long, sandy beach of Porto Liscia can be reached within a couple of minutes and offers plenty of space for surfers, families and people looking for a quiet spot to relax. Santa Teresa di Gallura and Palau are very close and offer everything you need during your holiday: lots of nice little restaurants, pizzerias and gelaterias as well as shops and little streets to stroll.

The owner and her family are excellent hosts and Borgo Lianti is a truly unique spot, recommendable to anyone who enjoys taste and design in harmony with the natural environment of the beautiful island of Sardinia!

Owner's Response: Thank you Patrizia and Uwe! It was a great pleasure to receive you. We all fell in love as well as you did with this magical spot on this great and wild island of Sardinia. We are slowly trying to improve all the services and the comforts for our guests as we think that holidays are to be always a great memory. We hope to see you again here very soon. Have a great year back home. Maria & Company

Delightful, wonderful and well-designed!

  • 5 of 5

We traveled to Sardinia with another family. We stayed in house 4 while our 2nd family stayed in house 3. House 4 was spacious, well-designed, and complete with everything we could possibly ask for or need. It was a well-designed space with a well-equipped kitchen. Our kids adored the loft and enjoyed staying there. We made use of the kitchen several times and had pleasant, outdoor meals in the covered terrace between both houses. The size of the dining area outdoors was perfect for our 2 families. The only piece of equipment that did not work very well for us was the vent above the stove, which did not seem to capture exhaust very well, but opening the windows for a period of time fixed this, and really the design, completeness, and details of the house well made up for this one thing.

Borgo Lianti has a lot of other special touches that really made our stay memorable. The property has a beautiful view overlooking the sea, the hill side was great for kids to run around and play in, and the hammocks outside made for some relaxing down time, reading in the shade. There is also a vegetable garden and little tree house on the property. Maria (the owner) graciously gave us vegetables from her garden, which we used in the meals we cooked. We were constantly greeted by her very friendly 2 dogs and cat, which our children delighted in. We appreciated having a kitchen stocked with some staples - pasta, rice, oil, spices, coffee - and even some home-made tomato sauce from Maria.

We highly recommend Borgo Lianti for any family, couple, or group of people who want a relaxing setting away from it all, yet with a convenient short drive from several places (including Palau, Santa Teresa, and several lovely beaches). Maria has a wonderful sense of design and attention to detail. The setting is just lovely, and we will gladly return again.

Owner's Response: The best gift for us is to know our guests enjoy their stay totally and in a relaxing surrounding!!! It's a wild but very cozy natural corner of Sardinia, yet in the middle of the most beautiful and breathtaking beaches, historical sight seeings and plenty of great tours. It's a land that whispers and talks of dreams on its own!

Relaxing, thoughtfully designed, beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

A great setting for a family reunion!

Our 2 families comprising 4 adults and 4 chilidren ages 4-8 enjoyed a lovely reunion exploring the spectacular beaches and nature in the area while staying at Borgo Lianti. We rented house 3 and 4.

The houses are new, clean, light, and beautifully designed. They are also air-conditoned, which was really nice in August when temps reach 40 degrees C. My family stayed in house 3, which was equipped with window screens against insects, and it was possible to air out the house after cooking without worrying about mosquitos coming in for the attack.

The bathroom in house 3 is on the small side, with little shelf space, but the beauty and simplicity of the design made up for it.

There is a gas stove in the kitchen, which we love. The auto ignition on the stove was not working, but loads of matches were provided and it was no trouble to light the stove that way. Everything you need to cook is provided in the kitchen. When we arrived, the kitchen was even stocked with home-made tomato sauce (made from tomatoes from Maria's garden), pasta, rice and a huge platter with fresh-picked veggies from the garden. Since we arrived rather late, we were really grateful we could improvise a meal without needing a trip to the supermarket.

We had all our meals on the terrace outside, along with our family in house 4. During our mealtimes we were surprised that we were not excessively bothered by bugs. We were, however, visited regularly by Maria's 2 very friendly, gentle dogs and their kitten friend. Playing with the pets was a highlight for our children.

On the grounds of Borgo Lianti there are loads of little things to discover and enjoy: hammocks under the shade of the trees, sunbeds and parasols, the vegetable garden, a really cool outdoor shower area built into the rocks, a little "treehouse" for the children, all the fun little details incorporated into the houses...

The location of the borgo is also really convenient. Though at first a bit tricky to find (if you stay there, try to arrive during daylight), its proximity to Palau and Santa Teresa di Gallura makes it a good starting point for all sorts of excursions. Recommended: Capo Testa, Maddalena Islands (take a boat from Palau) and if you're a fan of ancient history, the bronze age Nuraghi in Arzachena are fascinating.

The owner Maria is very welcoming and gracious and answered all our questions.

We will be back for sure!

Owner's Response: It is always a great pleasure to have enthusiastic guests who take advantage of all we offer to them and to their holidays!!!!!!!! It is a great setting for those who want to use in group of families, allowing common spaces to be fully used or to have private and isolated corners if needed. Th vegetable garden is full of surprise as the seasons pass by, with different types of choices and perfumes such as basil, persil, mint, dill, oregano, sage, marjoram, rosemary, thyme and others. We try to improve anyones stay every year, after suggestions and ideas given. But most of all we try to make our dreams come true for others to live them! Welcome to Borgo Lianti!!!

Fantastischer Ort fuer aktive und passive Erholung

  • 5 of 5
