The living room has a queen sofa bed, TV with Netflix/Amazon,etc., built-in desk, fan, and opens via sliding glass doors to the lanai and open lawn and a bathroom with shower services both the loft guests and anyone else... Kitchen has brand new appliances, custom concrete countertops embedded with Maui Sea Shells, Bamboo cabinets, and eat-in table for 6. The Lanai also seats 6 to dine outside. Puamana is a unique & safe gated beachfront community one mile from Historic Lahaina Town, where residents and quest share 28 acres of mature tropical gardens, almost a mile of beach, two surf breaks, 3 swimming pools, swings and a tennis court. If you've stayed at Puamana before, Our unit is 23-4 overlooking the clubhouse and tennis court. We have ocean and mt views from our lanai and far enough from Hwy noise, only ocean waves and birds! Shoes are completely optional your whole stay. Ideal for families and friends alike. ALOHA!

About Kim McEvoy
We are a family of four that make the North Shore of Maui our full time home. We are committed to preserving our beautiful natural resources here on Maui. We donate 1% of net profits to Trilogy Corporation's Blue Planet Campaign promoting clean oceans and education (ask about getting involved during your stay). As we recently updated our unit we ecologically refurbished and artfully refurnished with local conservation in mind. Using renewable Bamboo cabinets, low VOC paints, Venetian walls and reclaiming & re-purposing many materials for a fresh, young, casual Maui style..

Why Puamana? When I was a kid I grew up in Lahaina. Puamana was my favorite place to ride my bike, roller skate, surf, play frisbee and hang out with all my friends. I wanted my family to enjoy it also. When we arrive it is SURF, POOL and PLAY time! No worries. You can enjoy leisurely, visiting the Plantation Era Clubhouse with spectacular ocean front swimming pool (unique in the Islands), lending library, workout room, piano, tiled courtyard and gazebo.

The benefits of the Puamana Property are so many. It is hard to find open space complexes anymore. The mature trees make beautiful private shady spots to relax and read a book. And in the summer the Mango trees go off like crazy! The biggest & sweetest mangoes you'll every find.

Good but could be better
I liked the close proximity to Lahina but we usually drove as it was about a 15 minute walk mostly on a narrow shoulder by the road.

Maintained but not updated. Some new bedding and mattresses could improve the stay.
Infinity Pool shown in photos is really not for families. It is a posted “quiet” pool.
Perfect condo for a family with kids
The condo was bright, clean and beautifully updated. The community was perfect for bike riding and had easy access to Lahaina. We loved our stay and plan to come back again next year. Favorite condo we have stayed in Maui.
We had an awesome time at this perfect home for our trip. It has 2 large patio doors that open to the patio from the living area. Windows that open in the kitchen and bedroom. It was so comfortable we never used the A/C. The house had all the amenities we needed. It was steps from the pool and not much farther to the ocean. The property is wonderfully landscaped. We rented bikes and would ride 5 minutes to town for lunch or dinner or groceries. It has a parking stall right in front of the house. We loved it and look forward to going back.

Great Unit and Perfect Location
We spent a week here with our two children, ages 13 and 10. The unit worked out perfectly! Kim was great to work with and provided us with all the details we would need about the unit, the area, and some local recommendations. Within Puamana, the unit is perfectly located only a few steps to the beach, club house, and pools. We even walked into Lahina two nights for dinner. Overall, a great time and we would stay here again when our travels bring us back to Maui.
