This is a small apartment suitable for two adults or three for a short time. my wife and I stayed a month. The location is excellent if you have a car you are 15 minutes from the French Quarter, less to the Garden District, Magazine street and Metiarie. Oak street with many restaurants and shops is steps away. Parking was no problem. The area was quiet, safe and very friendly. People went out of their way to say hello and/or pet our dog. Steven, the owner was superlative. Our refrigerator died and he had his repairman there the next day which was a holiday and when the repair failed he installed a new refrigerator the following day. we had some cold days, but the apartment was quite warm.
This is a beautifully decorated, clean, and perfectly located apartment. The neighborhood is safe and there are restaurants and coffee shops just a short walk away. The street car is close and gives access to downtown. No complaints at all. We had a great stay.
Cost, Location and amenities were very good for my short stay - Was roomy and comfortable
Being near trolley line was helpful and food venues and convenience store nearby were also very nice to have
Street parking was not bad and neighborhood folks were friendly
Will not hestitate to return next time I visit NOLA
Very convenient and cute place to stay while on our short trip to NOLA to visit family. It was a little crowded with both of the beds in the living room being used (to accommodate our two kids), and so I would suggest it is better for a couple or a couple with one extra. But other than that we were happy to be within walking distance of some of our favorite spots in NOLA, and the apartment was very quiet.
The house was clean, beat and cute! Plenty of room for the two of us to enjoy our stay. It wasn't as close to the Drench Quarter as we would have liked, but it was only a few minutes drive. The only negatives about the stay was 1)the parking and 2) the AC couldn't keep up so we ended up going and buying a couple of fans to try and cool the livingroom off. Overall, it was a nice experience!
The house was wonderful and decorated so cute! Just enough room for the two of us! I've been to New Orleans many times but really got to experience a whole new side to the city! Loved all the local shops near by! Can't wait to come back!
