Keywords: Real Log Cabin/Chalet. Great location and easy access. 1.5 miles to Dollywood & Splash Country. Just minutes to downtown Pigeon Forge.
We love the Gatlinburg area and the Smoky Mountains. We also own 4 other log cabin rental properties in Pigeon Forge.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2004
We looked at several locations in the mountains and this property offered a great view with easy access to the cabins even in winter conditions. In addition, it is located just minutes from anything that you want to do in Pigeon Forge but still offers privacy and seclusion from the main traffic area.
I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your cabin. The cabin was beautiful and the view from the porch was perfect. We loved the location. It's both quiet yet convenient to everything. We hope you'll allow us to stay again the next time we visit the area. Thank you so much!
love the location felt very private but still close to everything comfortable clean or only complaint was the shower head it was one that was hand held or you were suppose to place like a normal one and wouldn't stay there ..the towels have a bad smell must be from the water..overall would stay again though!
We loved our stay here. There was a beautiful setting and lovely view. The property was well maintained and clean. It is fairly private. Our only disappointment was the pool table was a very small table.
Were so glad to have chosen your cabin (private affair). It's a beautiful house that really felt like home when we arrived each eveningroup. It's located perfectly, as it's extremely close to town but feels like you're way out in the country. There is a gorgeous view of the sun from the deck in the mornings as it rises over the mountain. The bed was quite comfortable (and huge), we're used to a queen bed. We were also pleasantly surprised at the full sized washer/dryer, as it's nice to be able to clean clothes. In all we had an amazing time and will definitely be joining get you again. If anyone is on the fence about this cabin, pull the trigger, you'll be glad you did.
This was our fifth year but first time at this cabin. We have two dogs and always have to stay in a dog friendly cabin . Every year roads seem to be a problem along with location to attractions. Not to mention some of the dog friendly cabins I wouldn't even let my dogs stay in!!!! However this cabin was beautiful! Perfect location and perfect roads. I know I'm writing this review late, but I am excited because next week we will be heading back. However, this year we will be staying in Lees cabin which is directly in front of private affair. My daughter will be coming with us so we got a two bedroom . The owner has a few cabins on this road and they all look identical to the pictures there's nothing misleading. The owner is easy to get along with and get a hold of and his housekeeping crew is just awesome!!
Our stay at the Private Affair was great from the beginning to end. We had easy access to any and everything we wanted to do as far as activities but had a nice place to rest our head and relax away from all the hubbub. The Cabin was very clean and had an amazing view from the back porch. I truly appreciated all the recommendations for restaurants and fun activities to do in the area that Mike provided in the cabin handbook. We would and already have recommended this cabin to family and friends. Thanks for the great get away!!
