Nyons has a Navette (Free local town bus). It has 4 routes within town. Connections to the train can easily be managed. There is also a bus (4eu approx) that leaves from town center and goes to and from Montelimar. It is timed to connect with trains coming from Paris. Coordination is perfect.
To be considered: no elevator but an easy climb to the apartment. The only other resident is in her 80s and has lived here for 50 years. There’s a pulley to easily raise items to your floor. No onsite parking but plenty of public parking available, most often directly in front of the building.
I've prepared a guide book to help you discover all the treasures local to Nyons …. and within a short drive. If you need help, I can set up wine tours with experts, advise you on biking, hiking, horseback riding, etc. If you wish to simply explore on foot or by car, your host will be there for you.
No le falta un detalle. La propietaria tiene muy buen gusto y hace que te sientas como en casa con sus pequeños y grandes detalles. Sí puedo, volveré una tercera vez. Gracias
Nyons is a great base for seeing Roman France, Wine (Cote de Rhone) Routes, for Historic France such as Avignon, Orange, Nimes; or for just staying in town and enjoying the local (very active) scene.
