It was a pleasure meeting both of you. We had a great time here in Montana. Especially your great hospitality, so friendly and humble. We had a great experience in your nice house, cabin and stay, we will recommend your beautiful home to all my friends. We will never forget both of you. How to see you again!
A very decorative warm home, I liked very much staying at this place, owners are very cooperative, helpful and joyful. I liked this place as one is close to nature , near big mountains and clear skies at night. All cooking utensils and basic items are available. One does not feel requirement to knock owners door for day to day things.
it is super clean, that's part of our reason to keep it clean as well. Host Rocky and Elizabeth, beautiful people, we love them.
This house was an excellent find. I'd recommend it to any family our large group looking for a quiet, comfortable home base for visiting Yellowstone.
About 30 miles or so from West Yellowstone but well worth the drive to arrive "home" in the evening to peace and quiet and a great space to cook, relax, and talk about what we'd seen in Yellowstone.
The house had everything we needed. The property management company and owner were both excellent to deal with. Quick response to questions and helpful advice.
Ive recommended the house to friends and family.
Just back from a multi-generational, trip to Yellowstone. The house has a large living/dining/kitchen area that is perfect for a large group plus some extra sleeping space (in addition to the three bedrooms) in the loft and living room. It was a quiet, comfortable, homey spot to come home to in the evenings after spending our days in Yellowstone.
The house is about 25 miles from Yellowstone's west gate. There are two different routes you can take to the park entrance from the house -- both with great scenery -- so for us, the extra few miles of driving each day was well worth what we got in exchange: a comfortable house where we could relax, cook our own meals, grill outside on the deck, and enjoy the view and the peace and quiet.
The property management company and the owner were both great to deal with. Every email I sent was answered promptly, all the information I was given was accurate, and the owner reached out a couple of times to make sure we had all the information we needed and that all was well with the accommodations.
Rocky (host) was really fun and very social. He took us to town to purchase food. :-)
The place was very clean and we everything we need was there.
Definitely would stay again.
This was a perfect spot for our 3 families, 10 people, to meet for a perfect family week. Absolutely loved the mountain backdrop and the rustic cabin, and had plenty of room. Visited all of Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, Grand Teton Park, and Beartooth Pass. Saw elk, bison, moose, coyotes, bear, wolf, antelope and lots of birds. The guys did a guided fly fishing lesson and had a blast. Got to ride the horses which made the girls so happy! Had breakfast and dinner together at the cabin and enjoyed relaxing evenings there too. In other words, the cabin is in a perfect spot for everyone. Elizabeth and Rocky were perfect hosts, and we didn't lack for anything needed. Didn't know we would have to drive on gravel road, but it really wasn't an issue. I recommend this property for any family who loves the outdoors.
