We've lived in Austin since 1996 and love the city! Amanda has been a licensed Realtor in Austin for 12 years, and we personally manage all of our rental properties - both furnished and unfurnished. We love meeting our guests from all over the world and creating a wonderful and memorable visit for them in Austin. And when we're vacationing, we always enjoy staying in vacation rentals and bed & breakfasts as well!
The home is so beautiful having been recently remodeled. The back yard feels secluded and inviting, and the hot tub makes this home everyone's favorite during the winter months! The home is unique because it is one of the few large homes in Central Austin. It is quite spacious and will make your stay more enjoyable! As an added perk, you can walk to almost anything - the movies, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and more!
We have personally managed all of our rental properties for 10 years and take pride in each home we own. Our goal is to make sure every guest has a wonderful experience staying with us!
The City of Austin requires that Vacation rentals obtain a license for legal operation. Legal operations will have their license number in their listing.
Thank you for such an awesome house. We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time. It is very well decorated and calming.
We really enjoyed the home and the hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after a draining (but fun!) day with the grandkids. The owners did some nice remodeling between when we booked and when we arrived, and it was a nice surprise that the home was even better than the pictures. We'll be back for sure.
Overall the house is very nice and is just a short drive to the Domain and to downtown. Our family of five had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen could have used a few more staples for cooking and we had to purchase a wine opener as the one in the drawer was broken. We were disappointed that a hot tub was advertised but did not have any water in it. Didn't need to pack the suits. This is why we did not rate the property higher.
The Austin rental was like walking into your home just after the housekeepers left for the day. Newly furnished throughout and centrally located making it a short drive to all of Austin. This was the simplest, most hassle free rental I've done. I understand how unpleasing it is to find the right house but wrong neighborhood, no worries about that with this place, neighbors were great.
Greg and Amanda were excellent hosts. We were in Austin on business and had a lot of meetings, Greg allowed us to check-in early and was completely understanding to our situation. It was a delightful start to a busy schedule.
There were no cons to the place, nothing to worry about especially if you want peace and comfort and hosts that are not intruding. All I can say - it was a pleasurable experience and I will contact Greg and Amanda for our next trip to Austin.
Oh, my security deposit was returned in five days. Amazing, yes that is amazing.
Best to you,
Our family decided that space, a kitchen, and the hot tub were well worth being a drive to the center of Austin. The property didn't disappoint.
Large home, worked great for our large family. Nice to have 2 bedrooms with king beds downstairs since we had my elderly parents with us. The kids had their own space upstairs with a separate bathroom which made me happy. First time renting and was leery but glad we found a place that would let us bring our dog. We'll never go back to a hotel again where it's expensive, where there's no kitchen, where we can't all stay together, and we have to board our dog since he's not welcome.
This home provided a wonderful home base for an Austin visit. It was very comfortable and stylish with great common spaces to gather together. The kitchen was modern and fully stocked. The bedrooms and the beds were large and comfortable. The hot tub was in a lovely backyard & patio setting. The location was super, quiet and yet close to all major highways.
