The space

Please read this description in its entirety prior to booking. We want to be sure you have all the information we can think of to be sure your visit is as exceptional as possible!

This cozy cabin in the woods is the perfect glamping experience for nature lovers, spring hoppers and for the mystics!

Push start Generator provided on site and is your sole source of power in this off-grid cabin. We will provide a full tank of gas each day and we will refill generators each day around 11 am daily. A full tank typically offers about 10-12 hours of consecutive power (depending on use of air conditioner and microwave within the cabin) . Additional gas can be purchased at the rate of $10 per two gallons.

The bath house is a separate structure from the cabin that sits about 100ft away (it’s approximately a 30 second walk). This is a shared space that may be used other guests, us or our family during your stay. (We host one other cabin on site) Please bring your own towels! One other cabin as located behind the bath house about 200 yards away through the woods.

The cabin Sleeps 2 people and Features a queen size bed. There’s also plenty of space to set up tents around the cabin if additional space is required.

There is a propane heater provided for heat that does not require power from the generator to run.

Kitchenette includes microwave, mini fridge, complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There is no range or oven inside the cabin. However, there is grill and fire pit ad well as all cookware needed provided for out door cooking.

Outdoor cooking includes grill (propane provided for grill)

Out door fire pit. Firewood is not provided but you’re welcome to use any wood you can collect while foraging around the cabin.

As an animal sanctuary we host tons of species of wildlife for your viewing.

We love animals, and we understand the value of pets! But, please note that we are unable to accommodate any visiting animals to accompany you during your visit.

Local attractions include:

Natural Springs. We’re within one mile of peacock springs. Other local springs include Lafayette Blue Springs, Suwannee springs, Troy springs, Royal Springs and itchetucknee.

We’re also a scenic 30 minute drive from Maddison FL. Where you can check out there stellar antique shops.

30 miles in the opposite direction is Steinhatchee where visitors enjoy the Gulf Coast and local scallops.

It is likely that you will come across at least one of our dogs during your stay. We’ve got a little black pug, Roxy who has made it her personal duty to greet guests if she hears them arrive, she is exceptionally cute and friendly!
