Great property

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the back unit which was very nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen is small. They have portable induction burners which confused us at first but Drew was super helpful and it all worked out fine. Drew is responsive and got back to me within minutes when I️ had questions about the burners. The beach is a short walk and is very nice. Would recommend highly.

don't be confused, but know and enjoy

  • 5 of 5

This property is co-listed with an adjoining property, and the pictures are presented together.

This is the larger of the two and has the great views, but it has a galley and not the kitchen in one of the pictures. The galley has an excellent microwave and oven located in a closet, and individual burners which you can take from the closet and use on one of the counters: not the usual full stove. There is also a full frig. This was a bit of a surprise for us, BUT it really did not matter as we ate almost every meal out, anyway. One can definitely cook (an outside grill is also included on the porch), but the galley space is "cozy." Don't be confused about the pictures or the "kitchen" situation. Know in advance. If that is good for you, as it was for us, then you will be delighted by your rental.

The rooms are all well appointed and fresh. The views are delightful. The master bedroom on the third floor has a very cool shower with 5 shower heads. The double room on the third floor has an ensuite bathroom with shower stall. The third room on that floor needs to access one of those bathrooms or the one on the second floor that has a bath with shower located and shared between the front room with balcony and the bunk room. There is also a toilet on the ground floor. We had no complaints about the beds or bed rooms.

The living room with dining area looks out to the marsh/bay through a small porch. It is a wonderful space for the family to be together. Excellent TV if you want one, games provided, too.

Short walk to the ocean, and the house comes with a wagon to bring over your cooler and/or the beach chairs provided by owner.

My wife and I, our three adult children, daughter-in-law, two grandsons (11 and 13) and my brother and his wife, loved this place, and would happily return!

A Perfect Stay!

  • 5 of 5

Everything was better than expected. House was beautiful, clean and spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable. Food around the area was good and it was a short ride if you wanted to explore the area. We WILL be returning again!

Beautiful home and view

  • 5 of 5

Great set-up for families/large groups as bedrooms are spread across two upper floors, lots of bathrooms. Kitchen is small but functional. View from the house/balconies/yard is great, as is location minutes from a beautiful sandy beach.

Very nice place!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived to a spotlessly clean house! Very nice decorating, bathrooms, beds and appliances. Location is great. Quiet and nice neighborhood. There is a seafood place a couple properties north and you can hear them calling people's order numbers out when their food is ready but it wasn't obnoxious or anything and you get used to it. Didn't even notice it after first couple days. Beach is just a short walk. We had a bunch of beach gear and brought a beach cart to carry it all so it wasn't bad at all. There was a beach cart at the house as well which was nice having two of them. We launched kayaks in the marsh behind the house around high tide. Would be nice if there was a path through the marsh grass but not sure the rules on that. Drew responded quickly with any questions we had while we were there. The one thing I would suggest would be to get another set of garbage and recycling bins as they get set out Thursday night for pick up and we arrived to a half full trash bin and almost full recycling bin. We sent a bunch of trash and recycling home with my cousin who visited for dinner one night. We also couldn't fit everything we had when we put them out Thursday night so there ended up being a lot of garbage and recycling in the bins when we left. Overall we were very happy with the house and would definitely rent again and recommend Drew's house to other people!

Beautiful home, perfect location

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in the front 4 bedroom, 4 full bathroom house, which is the last 13 photos in this listing. We found the listing to be a bit confusing so I think it is important to note that it is for 2 separate rental homes which are attached to one another by a carport. Since the carport is so large (fits 2 cars next to each other) the 2 homes don't actually share a wall so there were no issues with hearing the renters in the back 5 bedroom house. Since the 2 homes are attached, the back 5 bedroom house is the one that faces the marsh and has use of the outdoor space in the photos with the fire pit. The front 4 bedroom house where we stayed has a very small side yard of grass with a picnic table and a few chairs and the grill is under the carport. The lack of outdoor space for the front house is the 1 negative we have about the house. There is a fire pit for the 4 bedroom on a balcony off of one of the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. We felt this was an odd spot for a fire pit and we would have used it, if it could be moved to the side yard/carport area. We did end up using the back house yard space a bit towards the end of the week, but it depends on if the renters in the back house are using it/if they are ok with you using it along with them. Despite these aspects, the house is absolutely beautiful! Everything seems recently redone and the layout provided a great space for 6 adults and 4 kids under the age of 4 to easily spread out. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, the king bedroom and one of the queens have their own bathroom attached. The other queen bedroom and the bunk bed room use a bathroom located just outside the door in the hallway. Additionally there is another full bathroom on the 1st floor which has a shower with tub for baths. The large kitchen provided a great space for all of us to make breakfast, lunch and dinners without being crowded on top of one another and the living room space was much larger than it appears to be in the photos and beautifully done with enough comfortable seating for a large family. We loved the location with an easy walk to the beach and a few restaurants. Pine Point Beach is a perfect beach with no rocks, nice tide for children and you can walk for miles. We will definitely be back!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your comments. Some renters have loved the gas fire pit on the deck, but I will also be adding a wood burning fire pit on the outside yard for next year.
