Scott and Dana are the proud owners of the Tree House in Flagstaff, Arizona. We live in Phoenix, Arizona with our two kids and three dogs. After growing up and attending college in California we moved to Arizona to start our careers and our family. After years of visiting Flagstaff to balance against the Phoenix heat and desert landscape, we have finally been able to purchase this mountain retreat and excited to share it with you.
Scott MacComb purchased this house in 2014
We have enjoyed Flagstaff for many years and selected this mountain retreat because of its secluded location and views. We think it's the best lot in Kachina Village and hope you agree.
With one of the best views in Kachina Village, you will enjoy relaxation beyond belief.
Place is in excellent condition. Love the hand written welcome note that we found on the house when we arrived. The area is very quiet and a great place to stay and relax.
House had everything we needed. It was nice to sit the spa and look at the stars.
Overall had a good stay - it was nice having 2 separate areas (upstairs/downstairs) - kids played/watched movies downstairs while the adults were able to have there own space. Fireplace was nice/relaxing. Kids had fun on the hill in back -- VERY steep..
My family visited us from Argentina and we looked into renting a cabin for the 9 of us. We came across The Tree House and found it in a good location, well-priced, great for our 21-25 year olds and baby safe for our two one-year-olds. Of course us grown adults enjoyed it as well! Conveniently located, as we planned to use it to get to the North Pole experience in Williams, visit The Grand Canyon, and much more locations/activities up north. We loved spending family time together in the spacious kitchen and in the downstairs area, playing pool, board games & listening to music on the TV. It has enough beds to accommodate the 9 of us and although there were two bathrooms, it actually worked out just fine. The main floor was very baby-proof, we moved aside the couch to close off the stairs and put hair ties on the lower cabinet doors in the kitchen- it was easy & perfect. We loved the cleanliness of the place (my picky daughter did not complain for once), how great it accommodated our big family, and the location. No noisy neighbors whatsoever, it truly felt like a getaway home. We loved staying at The Tree House, thank you so much for having us!
Home was clean, loved all the labeling and how-to's throughout the house. Was as described in listing :) Loved all the games, legos, pool table and movies!
I took my Grandkids to the Polar Express Train. The bigger kids wanted to go Skiing, and my boyfriend and I wanted to do the Grand Canyon. We finished out Sunday with lunch in Sedona. The Tree House was perfectly centered for all of our Christmas fun! Thanks so much!
We had a great stay. It is a charming place. We enjoyed our stay and will recommended to others. I will be back and I hope this place is available when I am ready to go back, Thank you to Scott & Dana for sharing your home with my family. It was truly a wonderful experience.

Several sledding hills are available within the area. Here is a list of our favorites. Please exercise caution at all of these locations.

Drive back toward the freeway but continue on Kachina Blvd past the “T” intersection and turn left on Ancient Trail. You can park along the road at the intersection of Kachina Blvd and Ancient Trail.
