About The Owner

We purchased this property in 1996 and added the garden suite 10 years ago. When we travel we like to visit and stay in guest suites in cities close to all services. Come visit my home, neighborhood, and city. I live in the upper unit. When I'm not working, I walk every where, even taking the MAX light rail to the airport. I have been a Portland Realtor since 1985, our Real Estate market is still doing well in our urban locations.

Beautiful house, great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from 5 days in Portland, at Joanne's beautiful house. The basement apartment was comfortable, clean, and light, with everything we needed for our stay. Irvington is an amazing neighborhood and the house was just a short walk to restaurants, coffee shops, a lovely bookstore, and more. Joanne was easy to work with and offered to let us arrive early to avoid an approaching storm. A perfect stay!

Comfortable and convenient

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here while visiting my daughter in Irvington. This is a neighborhood of lovely historic homes. Close to Broadway, where you will find some great restaurants and shops. I enjoyed having the fireplace on every morning while I had my coffee. I would definitely book here again.

Very clean and well kept. Nicely decorated with many little details.

  • 4 of 5

Joanne was very attentive and even picked me up from the train. She showed me the area and the apartment. The apartment is big and very clean and nicely decorated. She made sure that the temperature was okay and hat I had everything I needed. The area is very nice with many restaurants and little shops in walking distance. You can also reach the train and big supermarket easily. The apartment was private and very comfortable. I wish my home looked this nice!

I would stay here again!

If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would. This unit was all the things mentioned in previous reviews. We were not disappointed. Clean, well decorated and close to activities, this was a perfect location for us during our brief stay in Portland.I would highly recommend tis property.

A Great Place to Stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just returned from Portland and a two week stay in this lovely apartment. The location is an easy walk to the Portland Convention Center, restaurants, shopping, and the light rail. The tastefully decorated apartment was very clean, nicely furnished, and offered all we needed to be comfortable in our temporary home away from home. Best of all the owner graciously went out of her way to accommodate our needs, including leaving a commitment early to rescue us when we locked ourselves out and driving us us the Max station for our return trip to the airport! It was definitely a Five Star Stay!!

Comfortable, well decorated & clean suite in an excellent location!

  • 5 of 5

I just returned from a week in Portland and was delighted with this suite - the location made getting around on foot easy, and there were plenty of good places to eat & get coffee nearby.

The suite is bigger than I expected, and really nicely laid out - everything was exceptionally clean & obviously carefully looked after.
