Space and Location

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed the spacious layout of the home: big kitchen, dining and family room; roomy bedrooms, and two baths with showers; large yard. Well stocked. Location great for playing in state forest, yet near amenities. While limited internet available via Verizon hot spot, of no help if att or other customer unless you tether cellular. Only other area for improvement is to put in stone path over sugar sand walk from driveway to front door; diligent on removing sand and shoes, but still couldn't help track in sand from foyer area with house sandals.

Beach House

  • 4 of 5

We were wowed when opened the doors, to see the spacious open concept for the living room/kitchen area.

The bedrooms all had queen size beds, and plenty of room to get around. Plus 2 rooms had extra beds.

The 2 bathrooms were clean and had fresh towels out.

The neighbour, Dave, came over to welcome us. Asked if we needed anything, and where to find him. Also said he had wood chopped for us for the fire pit.

We found the laminate floor in the living room / kitchen area was not clean. We washed the floor the following day, so did not have to wear our shoes in the house.

We brought all our own bedding & pillows, and towels for the bathrooms, as well as tea towels and dish cloths. We did not have to, as there is plenty of bedding, etc. in the closets.

There were lots of hangers in the closet.

We bbq'd almost every night. So convenient to have that out the back patio doors.

We hope to return, as the house is convenient to the ATV trails.
