Great house and location

  • 4 of 5

Great location and house. Plenty of space and close to many outdoor activities. The only small issue we had was the cleanliness when we arrived, it wasn't terrible, just a few small issues.

Spacious and comfortable - avoid the grill

  • 4 of 5

A lovely little cottage that is spacious and comfortable to relax in after a long day of doing the Up North thing. It's very close to off-roading trails, and within driving distance to a few lakes. A few hiccups here and there, as can be expected with anyone's house, but the only real issues was the grill. Avoid using it until the owner can confirm it's been properly serviced. It's a bit of a hazard. Other than that, I'd recommend staying here and will look to see if it's available again the next time we come up.

Nice Home

  • 4 of 5

House was great for what we had planned for our trip (ORV trail riding). Everything was clean, beds were average on comfort, the shower (with no tub) seemed to have difficulty getting hot water. We weren't able to get the bbq grill working (tried with matches and lighters) propane tank may have been empty. The front of the house has no drive-way or walking path so the sand would seem to make a mess everywhere. Other than the minor issues listed, we enjoyed our stay.

Family Vacation in St.Helen 7-15 to 7-26-2017

  • 3 of 5

Rachel, we had a nice time at your house. I called you about a few items you need to look into, but we still had a great time. May I suggest a sun shade over the back to shade from sun around the outdoor table? or maybe a large umbrella that can tip towards the sun. Our time outdoors was limited because of the summer heat. Dave had suggestions for restaurants around the town and the groceries at the gas station was great and close by with everything we needed. Thank you very much for a relaxing time with the family. Great place for families and hitting the trails!

  • 4 of 5

We had our first family vacation in 17 years here. Had a great time. The place was very big and open for a cabin in the woods. The neighbor came over and made sure we got settled in.

Two minor complaints. 1. The sand is everywhere. Really need a gravel or stone approach to the door so as not track in so much sand. 2. You should mention in our description that you can't use the garage, especially with the amount of people coming to the area to use the trails. We were under the impression we could store our bikes, quads, etc there out of the rain, which was need for the weekend we were there.

All and all great place and I would highly recommend it. Thanks.
