Welcome to your Northern Michigan vacation home! Our cabin is located just on the edge of Bass Lake in Interlochen where you will have your own private sandy beach and deck to swim and fish off of. Bass Lake is known for it's great swimming and fishing. It is an all-sports lake, yet most of the lake is surrounded by state land, so it is quiet with low traffic. Our cabin sleeps up to 6 people and has a large back yard overlooking the lake that's perfect for yard games and a bonfire as well. There is a patio with a large picnic table and charcoal grill just outside the cabin, so you can enjoy the outdoors and all that our property has to offer. About 25 minutes from downtown Traverse City and only minutes from Interlochen's great bars and restaurants, as well as golf courses, skiing (great winter rental, also!), and the Sleeping Bear Dunes, our cabin is a great location to take in all that Northern Michigan has to offer. Set in a secluded quiet part of Bass Lake, down a private road in the woods, our cabin is the perfect vacation home for those looking to spend their days in the clean, sandy water and nights by the beach with a bonfire. Perfect for couples, friends, and families, our cabin suits just about everybody's needs. So book now, pack your bags, and get ready to experience the best of Northern Michigan.

Took our 88 years old mother back to interlochen where she spent her childhood! Her father, our grandfather Harry F Clark was a conductor and spent his summers teaching music ...conducting at the school. The cabin was clean and well equipped. My sister from Fla is a chief and was very happy in the kitchen. My other sister enjoyed the big bedroom...and my mom is still talking about it, she loved it all! 5 star for sure...thank you for the memories!
We were so pleased with our accomodations -- they exceeded our expectations. The cottage interior is cozy and comfortable, done in" pure Michigan" knotty pine; the full-size kitchen and outdoor grill are perfect for enjoying local foods your way (but if cooking's not your thing, Bud's and The Hofbrau in Interlochen are two great casual dining options); the heating system worked well on the chilly weekend of our stay; ditto the nice hot water, something we don't always experience Iin rentals. The bedrooms were small but comfortable. There's a nice view of and easy access to quiet Bass Lake. The property is just minutes away from Interlochen and is also a convenient base camp for day trips to Benzie County, the Leelanau Peninsula and Traverse City. The only caution I'd offer about the property is to be careful using the rustic stairway down to the dock, just because one of us was nursing a temporary infirmity.
