Good stay

  • 4 of 5

The condo is just as advertised. There is a shop below (we were aware of this when making our reservation) which never presented a problem for us. Easy parking. It is right on the highway, but road noise didn't seem to be a problem for us while sleeping. It could be loud during the day if the patio door was open, because it shares that side of the condo. Weather was unseasonably cool while we were there and we did have a window open at the evening hours. Another reviewer indicated that the creaks and groans of the unit could be unsettling, which I agree with. Coyotes woke us several times every night. The area seemed quite safe, but I would've felt better with a better door lock. The main glass patio door lock was also broken, however a stick was left to put in the track. We did tell Mary of this issue at departure.

The condo had everything needed to make for an easy stay. We didn't cook, but it would be possible. We used the washer/dryer a couple of times which was an added bonus. The bathroom was sizable and made it easy for a couple to get ready at one time. The bed was soft, yet comfortable. The condo was tidy but could've used a good scrub in some areas.

Mary met us at check-in and responded quickly to texts. She gave us some great suggestions and was friendly without overstaying her welcome. We appreciated the park pass available which saved us having to pay park admittance fees.

There is so much to do in Sedona. Research ahead of time. Most tours require at least a 2 day notice (and some don't go daily), so make sure to book them early. (We almost didn't make it to the Grand Canyon, which was a must-see for us due to the 2 day notice.) Antelope canyon in Page, AZ is unbelievably gorgeous, if you are willing to drive the 3+ hours.

Great Place in Sedona!

  • 5 of 5

The view of Thunder Mountain is great! There is a balcony so you can get up in the morning and see the mountain. This upstairs apartment had a large living area with a huge TV, with an open floor plan with fully equipped kitchen. One bedroom with big comfortable bed with plenty of storage and a desk. The bathroom has 2 sinks and a very nice shower. It was very quiet at night and had a chance to hear the coyote pups in training. Mary had great recommendations for hiking, dining, and drinks. Dining and drinks places are within walking distance and were great! If you have a larger group you can rent the adjacent upstairs apartment. Great time and will definitely stay again.

Convenient, but in Commercial Area

  • 3 of 5

Mary greeted us and gave us some good suggestions re: local restaurants and sights to see. The accommodations were comfortable, but a bit too noisy with road traffic and adjacent commercial properties. I would recommend this property if views are not important; it is centrally located and convenient to hiking trails, downtown Sedona and shopping.

A great location and close to restaurants, theatres, Jeep rentals. Good space needs some TLC.

  • 3 of 5

We were very happy with the location. There are many restaurants within walking distance. We joined a health club for the month that we could walk to. The apartment was roomy, nice TV, good double sink bathroom, and good clothed washer and dryer. The retail units below the apartment are not intrusive and only open during daytime. Parking was conveniently right next to the unit. The business owners are friendly and responsible. The unit really needs a good professional cleaning. The light fixtures, fans, cupboards, and baseboards need a good cleaning. The metal roof was an issue since the daytime expansion and nighttime contraction creates a lot of creaks, which were unsettling. There was no deadbolt on the entry door which would be a good addition. It was a "good" stay. It could have been better. Mary responded quickly to an issue with the DVD. She was very helpful in recommending things to do.

Great stay in Sedona!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for a week and this was very comfortable for a stay of this length. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Convenient location to a lot of things in Sedona being right on 89 highway. Very nice walk in shower. We wished we could have used the outside sitting space more but the close highway noise did not allow this. Mary was great and was there at checkin to get us oriented. Even gave us a red rock pass to use for our stay which was a great bennie.

We are located in the heart of West Sedona, convenient to the best views, trails, golfing, shops, galleries, restaurants, groceries and many other enjoyable amenities of Sedona. We have storage space for bicycles and trailers if need be, and a safe parking area. It should also be noted that we are located on 89A, the main road passing through Sedona, therefor there is street traffic during the day which can be heard From the front room. The bedroom is very quiet.
