Wine lovers will find much to appreciate at Villa Montepulciano. Located on an estate that still produces boutique wines and olive oils, the villa offers guests the chance to taste wines grown just outside. Six bedrooms, divided between a main house and guest cottage, offer space for up to fifteen guests, and rustic decor and panoramic views of the countryside are constant reminders youre in the middle of Tuscany.
A stay at Villa Montepulciano offers guests the chance to try local specialties from fruit to wine and olive oil. Sample produce from the orchard, enjoy a welcome basket of breakfast treats and taste wine with the villas owner, a sommelier. Create your own specialties on the outdoor barbecue, then, serve them on the outdoor dining table. Relax on the loungers around the pool or on the porticos bench swing, and dont forget to post vacation photos via the villas Wi-Fi.
Built in the 1850s, the villa was recently restored in a way that respects its rustic past but provides modern comfort. In the living room, brick arches and terracotta floors nod to traditional Tuscan style, while a fireplace and contemporary sectional sofas create a welcoming place to sit. Theres room for everyone around the long dining table, situated in an airy space thats open to the kitchen, where youll find modern appliances and both Italian- and American-style coffee makers.
There are five bedrooms in the main house, and one bedroom in the guest cottage. Each has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, and is stocked with toiletries. In the main house, youll find three bedrooms with king beds, one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with three twin beds. The guest cottage has a bedroom with a queen bed, as well as a sofa bed that can sleep three additional guests.
As its name implies, Villa Montepulciano is just outside the town of Montepulciano. Theres a grocery store 7 minutes away by car, and restaurants, a tennis court, church and gym 10 minutes away in the center of town. Its a 25-minute drive to the Chiusi train station, a 30-minute drive to the Bettolo golf course and a 35-minute drive to the ski area at Mount Amiata. Take a day trip to the beach at Grosseto, 60 minutes away, and enjoy easy access to the Florence airport, also an hours drive away.

This was a great family vacation for us. The view was incomparable. The villa is comfortable and spacious. The owner was very concerned about our vacation experience and we celebrated some very special occasions. Though rural the surrounding area provides a host of opportunities for touring and relaxation. This is a real find in private vacation rentals.
This villa was outstanding! The owner of the villa was a magnificent host and we had no need that wasn't addressed. The location of the villa in Montepulciano was great to spend a couple of days in Rome the go there to make day trips to Florence, Pisa and Cinque Terre.
The views and relaxation you experience at the villa is second to none!
We had a great time. The villa was very nice and everything worked as expected.
The villa is beautiful, but a bit rustic. If you want luxury, this is not the place for you. The owners, however, were wonderful. The setting is spectacular.
Had a wonderful time with family and friends celebrating various birthdays. The place is spectacular, beautiful setting and the owner is very helpful and a graceful host.
Our vacation was perfect. We were well prepared with information and knew that we could get help from you, if needed, at any time. Everything went smoothly, it was well planned and everyone we met was very helpful and informative.
The villa was great, the entire property superb--everything is very well kept. The owner was so helpful and always available for whatever we needed.
