I am an advanced care paramedic in the Niagara Region and love animals and being outdoors. I was raised in a small village of 350 people, I enjoyed years of living in a city and it's nearby amenities, but in the end, the serenity of the countryside won my heart.
Lindy purchased this Farmhouse in 2012
Why Lindy chose Pelham
I fell in love with this property before it was even listed. I remember the sunlight hitting the big old red barn on the property and thinking how I would love to get pictures taken there. I bought the farm and it has been the family gathering place ever since.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
I am a dedicated bird feeder, so if you love birds, you'll be guaranteed to have some fun sightings! This spring we have had LOTS of activity: indigo buntings, baltimore orioles, hummingbirds, yellow finches by the dozen, cardinals, red-winged blackbirds, chickadees, a variety of woodpeckers, blue jays, grosbeaks, mourning doves, nuthatches, juncos (winter regulars) as well as turkey vultures and bluebirds nesting on the property. The occassional hoot can also be heard by a pair of Great Horned Owls.

Fabulous property! Extremely clean, plenty of room, great pool, hot tub and outdoor space.
Six moms enjoyed a relaxing stay on our annual getaway weekend. We spent most of the weekend outside enjoying each others company, despite some rain, thanks to the covered patio. We really appreciated having a second fridge as we cooked all of our meals during our stay. Very organized recycling too! Everyone had a lovely time. The ladies all commented on how clean the farmhouse was and it is a lot of house to clean and turn around in between guests. We would like to return next year :-). Thanks so much Lindy!
A fabulous group that left the house as clean as they found it. Would be wonderful to have you again.
Our group had an interesting experience at Pine Creek Acres. We had a rocky start as there was no power or water running at the time when we arrived due to a wind storm, however Linda (owner) accomadted us by going out of her way to get us some power and water with a back up generator, bringing us food, and providing us with lights, and other necessities. Even though we were very upset with the circumstances she came to the rescue. The cottage it self was absolutely beautiful, all appliances were working including the hot tub. This places is stocked with everything that you'd need on your stay from shampoos, to all utensils and dishes needed, linens, and towels. I would recommend anyone looking for a nice spacious quite place to visit Pine Creek Acres.
Perfectly clean! Great for families
This is a great farm house for big families....everything was super clean and well organized. We had a great stay!
Great group to host. House was left in great condition and loved how well they did using the organic bin :)
Absolutely stunning property and home!
Very clean and well kept. Lindy was so kind and accommodating. This place is definitely in my top 5 favorite vacation spots. Looking forward to the next time!!
Relaxing girl's weekend getaway
Clean, cosy, beautiful property and home. We had everything we needed and enjoyed some beautiful local hiking.
Spacious, welcoming and cozy home
The owner has gone to great lengths to make sure that the people staying at this cottage are comfortable and taken care of. The beds are unbelievably comfortable, there was lots of space for people to get comfortable in, the hot tub was a wonderful bonus (as we were there during the colder season), and the environment felt like you could have been in your own home. I would recommend this cottage to anyone with a bigger group trying to get away.
