Overview

About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Interior designers personal family vacation home. I wanted a place for all my friends and family to gather, enjoy each others company, have wonderful dinners together (dining table can seat 12...plus there is bench seating for another 7) and just have fun. Whether it is watching all the abundant wildlife (look for the grey fox that comes down the road at cocktail hour ) or the deer and elk that come thru the yard... Wildlife abounds! You would think you are in the middle of nowhere but you are actually very close to a major highway, places to shop, restaurants, all the amenities we have all come to enjoy....just minutes away.

I have tried to make sure that everything one would want to be comfortable at the house is there. All new beds, linens, towels etc. to enjoy.

Many people who come there (me included) just end up not wanting to leave. It is a very unique nurturing environment that you just have to experience to fully appreciate.

The perfect intersection of rural, modern, accessible, and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We could not have been more pleased with our experience staying at Nancy's beautiful Morrison home. It was me, my fiancé, and my parents on this trip and all of us had very different expectations and hopes for what our rental home would be and somehow, this property satisfied them all:

My dad wanted something very rural, where he could see the stars at night, sit out on the porch, and feel completely tranquil in the mountains. My mom was looking for something close to hiking and outdoor activities. My fiancé was hoping to have enough space that we wouldn't feel on top of each other in the home. And I was looking for a home that was extremely modern and within a short distance to major attractions/cities so we could experience everything the Denver surrounding area has to offer. This home gave us ALL of it.

For my dad, you are VERY buried in the mountains in Morrison. It is about 10 minutes from the highway and had all the twisty, windy streets and hills you would hope for. You truly do feel like you're in the middle of nowhere when you're at this home and it is such a beautiful neighborhood as well. We loved how remote it felt.

For my mom, we were a 15 minute drive from Red Rocks and just a little further drive to Boulder to experience the flatirons! We were able to do plenty of fun hiking VERY close by. Even walking through the neighborhood is a great workout!

For my fiancé, this house was HUGE. We both stayed in the 2 bedrooms on the main floor, which were very comfortable, but it was nice having 2 full bathrooms and for those with kids there's an ENTIRE BASEMENT finished with it's own tv and games and huge space. The bedroom downstairs has 2 twin beds which is why we didn't stay down there, but truly a GREAT option for people trying to travel with 2 families. Adults upstairs, kids downstairs would work perfectly at this home.

For me, we were able to do SO MUCH and the home was brand new feeling and immaculate. We traveled to Red Rocks and hiked up that and went to the museum/hall of fame, we went to Boulder and got to see the flatirons and spend time in an AWESOME town, we went to Golden (twice) and had some great meals and got to enjoy that charming town (Coors Brewery was on our list but the line was over an hour long on our last day so we decided not to go), and we got to go to downtown Denver where we ate at two AMAZING spots, all in 5 days!

Thank you SO MUCH to Nancy for leaving no stone unturned. A PERFECT COLORADO STAY!

great weekend in a peaceful valley

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time and Nancy's attention to detail was perfect. We were there for a concert at Red Rocks and took Uber to the show. It was a very peaceful stay and plan to try and rent this house again next year.

Great Location, Cozy & Well Appointed House, Great Trip & Hospitable Owner

  • 5 of 5

This was my first time to Denver. Booked a long-weekend girls' trip before I got married to hang out with my friends without kids and husbands. Nancy was helpful in local recommendations for sightseeing & eats. Beautiful property with hiking and wildlife starting at the backyard. Easy and close ride to Red Rocks--amazing venue. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed and made a memorable weekend comfortable. I'll never forget our Morrison weekend and I hope to make it a reunion at Nancy's place in the future.

Perfect location and property

  • 5 of 5

A few old friends of mine were traveling to Colorado for a Red Rocks concert. We picked this property to get some fresh air, get away from the city, but be close to Red Rocks. This location has it all - beautiful scenery, great location, immaculately maintained. Couldn't have asked for a better property - I will be staying here again in the future. Nancy was very friendly and easy to work with. Thanks!

Awesome Colorado Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I were looking for a home to rent while we were in town for the 4th and shows at Red Rocks and Nancy and her home did not disappoint. Nancy was great to work with both before our trip and while we were at the home. The house had everything we could ever need, was in a beautiful location and was a perfect getaway. The house is just a short 15/20 minute drive from all the stores/food you might need and from the Red Rocks venue. We will definitely be coming back again and would recommend this home to anyone!

Best VRBO house ever!

  • 5 of 5

6 of us decided we had to go to Red Rocks for a concert so we booked tickets and found this wonderful house. I am not sure which was the best part of our trip, the concert or our time at this house. The views are magnificent, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook fabulous meals, the beds are comfy, and neighborhood is amazing. We all decided we are going to come back annually to Red Rocks and hope to rent this house for a week next time. There is so much to do in the area, or just do nothing but hang out and relax!! Loved this house!
