Built in 1875, this 2,400 square foot house radiates early Victorian charm. We chose warm colors throughout, inspired by our time living in Mexico. The furnishings are simple and uncluttered.
Ours is a light, comfortable home in the heart of historic Concord. The first floor living area has many great features, a front door and rear, mudroom, entrances, and full bath which includes bathtub/shower. The living room is furnished with a sofa, loveseat, wood-burning stove, armoire with flat screen TV. The kitchen has granite counter tops, three barstools, and stainless steel appliances. The Family room has a breakfast table, love seat, and French doors leading to the backyard patio. In the dining room you will find seating for six along with an upright piano.
The second floor has a master bedroom, two smaller bedrooms, a full bath, and a home office. The master bedroom has a king bed with a memory foam mattress, with a skylight overhead, cherry dressers and bedside tables, and an elegant hardwood floor. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a memory foam mattress, with a skylight overhead, and a light pine dresser, bedside table, and desk. The guest bedroom is used as a study/TV room, with one wall has a floor-to-ceiling bookcase and a flat screen TV. A home office has skylights, desks, and a twin bed. The upstairs bathroom has a full bath with separate shower and soaking tub. The home enjoys high-speed wireless Internet access throughout.
The house enjoys a small yard, easy to maintain, that is landscaped with perennials and shade plants, with a private, Japanese style contemplative side garden. The rear yard has a private brick patio with Adirondack chairs and a private screened back porch under lots of shade from tall, leafy mature trees.
