Other Things to Note
If you are coming in for a conference at either the Wardman Marriott or the Omni Shorham hotels, this is a relatively inexpensive and very convenient place to stay.
I am a 20 year DC resident who has worked as a geologist, political operative and a renewable energy developer. I am originally from Iowa and still believe in midwestern friendliness. Bicycling and skiing are my favorite activities. I have done much of the restoration for my house with my own hands.
Sean purchased this apartment in 2000
When I can to DC in 1992 I friend drove me down the street I now live on. I could not believe there were houses in the center DC overlooking a forest. I knew at that minute I wanted to live on my street.
Park view. Owner occupied neighborhood. Three blocks from metro. Hundreds of restaurants in walking distance. Walkability makes it a small town in a big city. A good week , I never use my car.
The rental unit has been upgraded by Sean - very nice woodwork, furniture, original art on the walls, rugs. He lives on the floor above, and is available to help with any issues. Sean is very conscientious both with the upgrade of his property and with the comfort of his guests. We plan to return.
Sean is a great host. Very accommodating and friendly. He even invited me to join he and his friends for a cookout one evening. The property and neighborhood are also great. Nice quite neighborhood and a well-kept, spacious property. Very near to the Adams Morgan, Woodley Park, and the metro. I would definitely stay here again.
