Two bedroom apartment located on the sixth floor of the building is ON THE BEACH. This apartment has magnificent panoramic ocean views from all windows.
The kitchen, master bedroom and master bath have been beautifully renovated in April 2014. The $17,000 master bath renovation features designer floor-to-ceiling marble, designer shower head and sink faucets, designer vanity and dramatic lighting.
The apartment consists of:
- newly renovated master bedroom containing a king size bed with a magnificent full bath
- second bedroom contain two queen size beds and a very nice full bath
- newly renovated full equipped kitchen
- beautifully decorated dining room
- comfortable living room with a pull out sofa bed
- enclosed balcony overlooking the beach and pool.
WIFI and cable TV is included.
Fully equiped kitchen contains a full size refrigerator, stove, oven and dishwasher. Microwave, coffee maker, toaster, utensils, glassware, plates, and silverware are supplied.
Flat screen TV's in the bedrooms and living room.
Three (3) night minimum stay required.
All linens and towels are supplied
Iron and ironing board is supplied.
Laundry facilities are located in the resort basement .
Valet parking is provided to our guests. The rate is $8/day.
Internet wireless is available in the unit and lobby.
the 2nd bedroom beds were a little tired. time to update the mattresses. It is also time to update the beach and pool towels. other than that it was perfect. convenient to local shops and restaurants. Elizabeth, the property manager was very nice and helpful with our requests
When we arrived unit was not clean. After reading other reviews that also said there were crumbs in the cup holder, crackers under the bed. Sofa was torn and stained as was the barstools too with who knows what. Cabinets were dirty with food stuck to them and appliances were the same. The mattress in guest bedroom very worn and uncomfortable. When we told the property manager that the unit was dirty she did not even come up to look at it she sent someone up to clean but the women wanted us to go around and point out what needed to be cleaned while we watched which we were not about to do when we had just arrived and trying to unpack. I don't think it was our responsibility to show them what needed to be cleaned as it should have been taken care of. I sent the property owners pictures that I took but didn't seem to care that we spent our money to rent the unit in that condition. The location is great that's all I can say. I am in the travel business and decided to rent a condo rather than 2 hotel rooms for my family. The location was excellent. The oceanview was great.
I do feel the unit needs a total facelift. It is dated, beds are uncomfortable, blinds do not close properly, paint on walls repaired in some areas. Its time to spend some money and make it a nice unit. The kitchen had been renovated along with master bath. I do feel the price was too high for the condition of the property. As I mentioned we normally stay at hotels and might have to go back to the hotel thing. I do expect a better ambiance.
The building is very old and out dated. Elevators are very small and often get stuck. Parking is very limited so using the valet parking is your only real choice at $8 per day. Pool and pool area are very nice. Beach is also nice.
Upon our arrival in July 2016 we noticed gnats flying around. We immediately contacted Elizabeth who responded quickly as did the owner who was on site. The gnats were very bad. They were everywhere. The exterminator came the 2nd day and found a one foot hole in the wall under the 2nd bathrooms sink. When he sprayed in the open cavity swarms of gnats came flying out. He stated this was the source of the infestation. Over the course of the next few days the gnats slowly subsided but I am sure they will be back. Gnats were also in the hallways so not sure if there is another source in the building or it is coming from the unit. We toughed it out, but had we found a reasonably priced unit that was available from HomeAway we would have left. No one wanted to rent to us on such a short notice. The owner did offer a full refund if we found another place, which didn't happen. Refunded one days rental for our pain and suffering.
The master bedroom and master bath have recently been renovated and are very nice. 2nd bedroom and bathroom could use renovating. Kitchen was stocked well, but we ended up not cooking or eating in the unit once the exterminator sprayed the refrigerator, stove, sink and dishwasher. Kind of ruined our vacation.
If the wall is repaired and the gnat problem is eliminated I would recommend the unit for rental.
We stayed here from July 30th thru Aug.6th, we were 3 adults and 3 children. The condo was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. The unit was clean and nicely decorated, both the kitchen and master bathroom are renovated with taste. The ocean view from the master bedroom was absolutely breath taking and was a pleasure to wake up to each morning.

There are plenty of bath and beach towels, plenty of kitchen supplies, and it is equipped with a washer and dryer which was very convenient. The owners and Elizabeth(the manager) were very pleasant to deal with and were easy to reach.
There are really no complaints about this condo, we enjoyed our stay.
The only actual downfall was the building itself, it is outdated, it needs a face lift but nothing really major. The pool area has no shade so we stayed at the beach most of the day. However the building being outdated did not in any way affect our vacation.
The condo is conveniently located at 'Galt Ocean Mile' by the ocean
between Oakland Park and Commercial blvd. where you can walk to
restaurants, grocery stores, shops, public transportation, water
taxis, banks, etc.
The Intracoastal Waterway which is a few blocks away winds gently through the interior, connecting downtown office buildings, the world-class boutiques,
galleries and restaurants on Las Olas Boulevard and the museums, theaters and nightspots of Riverwalk
Las Olas Riverfront is just a couple of miles away
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)- Approximate
driving time is about 20 minutes and distance is about 10 miles
