We're a couple of Seattle transplants, that just recently started to grow our Hawaiian roots.
It has been our favorite vacation spot for over 15 years, now we can finally call it our home.
This charming studio is our third acquisition on the island, and we are happy to share it with visitors to the beautiful Hawaii.
Alexei and Matthew purchased this studio in 2014
This is our 3rd purchase in Waikiki. What sold us on this Studio is it's ideal location. Busy Kalakaua and Kuhio avenues are just half block away, while Koa Avenue offers a welcome retreat. You're still just a few steps away from everything Waikiki has to offer, yet on a quieter, less travelled street.
This little studio is a gem. Quiet but in the heart of lively Waikiki.
Very well equipped and spotless. We found everything we needed. I had a small cut on my hand and to my surprise there was even some surgical spirit in the bathroom.
The owners were very quick to answer all my questions and I feel I have known them for ages! Just like good friends. We would definitely recommend it everybody. Anna
Nice and close to the beach. Older building that has been updated a bit. Good value for the price. Alexei was great to deal with.
This was our first VRBO rental. What attracted us to this particular property was the location right in the center of old Waikiki, the reasonable price and the amenities of the suite. What it is: An updated studio apartment in an older building (50-60 years) located literally one street from the heart of Waikiki beach. If you want a luxury hotel, this is not for you, but read on: We are a couple in our early 50's and this was all we needed for our first trip to Hawaii: A clean room, a comfortable bed, a small but functional kitchen where we could make meals (we used it for breakfast and some lunches) and a balcony on which to enjoy our morning coffee. Laundry downstairs meant we didn't need to pack a ton of clothes. What sold us, though, was Alexei: He was always quick to answer our e-mails about anything, including those about unrelated local info, and left us with the impression that should anything not have been right it would have been taken care of promptly. Would we rent this property again, or recommend it to others? Absolutely!
The unit had everything we needed for a lovely stay. So much so that we could have stayed a week or been fine for a month. Stove, oven, fridge, coffee maker, blender, glasses, dishes, pots, necessary utensils were all provided. Our host answered all questions promptly. We saw other peoples hotel rooms and realized what a great deal we got. Yes, it is small but so are most rooms here but it is tastefully decorated, close to beach, has a terrace, view and everything you need.
We just love this place and have been lucky enough to stay twice. The studio is so central and only one block away from the beach with excellent views of the surf from the sunny deck. Everything is provided you need and a very generous supply of fluffy white bath towels and two large beach towels. The studio is spotless and all the chattels are of a high quality. We loved the wonderful security provided - a code for the front door and a code to the Studio. Thank you Alexei for another wonderful battery recharge holiday, which we were desperate for, your kindness and your very prompt replies to my emails. You are a star!!! Jude and Roger
The apartment is perfectly located one street back from the main drag in Waikiki -- close enough that you can go to the beach with nothing but your slippers and towel, and not have to worry about leaving your wallet/phone on the sand. Good access to the bus system and easy to get an Uber/Lyft when you want one.
The room itself is very small but space-efficient and comfortable, and perfect for a couple unless you're bigger, in which case you might have trouble navigating the bathroom. Lighting a bit dark with standard vacation rental decor, which is fine given the great price. Kitchen well-stocked. The place is too small to have friends over to hang out, but in Hawaii, why would you? Get outside!
Owners communicated very promptly and effectively. No issues, just a good solid room for a good price!
Steps away from all the best Waikiki has to offer. Centrally located half block away from main Kuhio Beach, right behind Hyatt Regency Hotel. Every Waikiki attraction from Honolulu Zoo to Aquarium, to Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, to Historic King's Village is within walking distance!
