Comfy but not clean.

Rented this property to attend a wedding in Newport on Sat. 9/30. Upon arrival we were met by Joan the property keeper. She showed us in and took us around the apartment which looked nice until we entered the larger bedroom where we found a dust rag left behind. After she left we found hair in the tub and around the toilet seat. There was dried tooth paste in the bathroom sink. In the kitchen we found a dirty sink plus there was coffee in the overflow pan of the Keurig. We were in Newport for two nights and it stinks to think we spent the beginning hunting for cleaning supplies and doing what the cleaning person was supposed to do.

Fantastic property in an excellent location

We chose this property as it had two rooms at opposite ends which were ideal for 4 adults and a baby. The master suite is huge and easily accommodated our pack and play for the baby. The owners provided timely information and were very welcoming. All essentials (and extras) were provided: sheets, towels, coffee, bottled water. Location couldn't be better to explore all Newport has to offer!

We enjoyed a delightful vacation in such a historic neighborhood and home! The apt. is well equipped with A/C, great kitchen, one full bath, two separate bedrooms - double/queen, extra towels/bath amenities, sitting area, TV in all rooms and about five stairs up to private entry with outdoor umbrella and table. The quiet location is excellent, private parking, short walk to downtown area~ Thames St. Thank you, Mike and Joan, for being such helpful and welcoming hosts! Looking forward to another visit in the future!

Clean, near home close to all shops and restaurants!

Great Apartment in Newport

We enjoyed staying in the apartment on Brinley Street. The location was conveniently situated to night life in Newport. We could walk to most things and parking in the back was sufficient. The apartment was charming and nostalgic, but also provided modern conveniences. Joan the apartment manager was friendly and very responsive to a plumbing problem we experienced. The handy man came right away to fix the problem which made our day so much more enjoyable. We also appreciated the refrigerator stocked with cold water during a warm summer week in Newport. We will book again in the future.
