Steps from beautiful Kahala Beach, you will find your Estate. As soon as you open the front gate, you will be welcomed with lush tropical landscape.
The property is located in the coveted Kahala neighborhood, a five minute walk to the luxurious Kahala Hotel and a ten minute walk to Kahala Mall where you will find restaurants, shops and Whole Foods market. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and a fantastic area for walking or biking.
The main house is over 3000 square feet and includes 3 bedrooms. A large master bedroom which also has a sitting and tv area. Both the second and third bedrooms have large bay windows over looking the pool and the other looking out onto the lush landscaped property. The house is spacious with a Living Room and a Great Room to relax in. The pool in the backyard is enormous with lots of space to sit and enjoy the sun.
The house is very typical of old Hawaii, everything on one level, except a sunken living room, very warm feeling upon entering the home with lots of big windows throughout. Nearly every room in the home has a vaulted ceiling, which gives the house a spacious feeling.
A Guest Cottage is also available with the property. The Cottage has a private entrance leading back to a one bedroom with two queen beds and a complete kitchen. This is an additional property, #3656066 and can be added in conjunction with the main house for an extra fee.
The property has plenty of parking with both a garage and a driveway and is only a short two mile drive to Diamond Head lookout and state park. Just beyond Diamond Head is Kapiolani Park and the bustling Waikiki.
We live in the home a portion of the year, so we take incredible pride in the details of the house. Our love of tropical landscape has given this property that speculation island feel.
Location, Location, Location. Our property is located in the marquee location on Oahu. Across the street from the beach and the large beach park. A short five minute walk to the famous Kahala Hotel, where you can have brunch on the beach. Also, the property is close to Diamond Head loop where runners love to run around the volcano. Diamond Head is also home to a very popular local surfing spot. We have parking available on the property.
Fantastic Location and spacious property both inside and outside the house. Unique to our property is the 17,000 square foot lot that is quite rare in Kahala. Lots of space to be outside and enjoy the lush landscaped property.

It is within 5 minutes by car as well as supermarket and Kahala Mall.
They were all perfect for us.
This home was perfect for my family! 3 bedrooms with king beds and each has its own bath. Easy walk to beach, convenient to airport and highways; making side trips easy to get to.
My family rented both house and casita for a week and had a wonderful time. Perfect place and setup. Patio w pool and garden setting is lovely. Owner Ryne and House manager Linda were very accommodating and helpful. Thanks to both of them for making our stay wonderful!
We enjoyed staying in this house which was comfortable and quiet. We make at least 2 trips to Hawaii a year always renting a house.
It was great to have a kitchen fully equipped with nice pots and pans, The dishes were all matching with out any chipping and lots of nice silver ware. The master bedroom was large with a very comfortable king size bed. There are 3 bedrooms each with it''s own bath.
The landscaping is like what is found at expensive resorts and very comfortable and relaxing to spend time in reading or visiting.
The whole yard including the pool area is very secluded so one can swim and sun bathe au nature'l. The pool is large and cleaned twice a week, and is warm from the sun .
There is also an out side cold water shower which we used to rinse off.
Kahala Beach is right across the street as is the Kahala Hotel.
There is a great mall 5 minutes drive from the house, with a drug store and many eating places, and commercial shops, there is also a whole foods store.
Close by is a wonderful Italian restaurant called Assagio's Beware the servings are large, even the small servings will sastify 2 people.
We are looking forward to our next trip to Hawaii and staying here again .

The location was highly ideal -- easy driving distance from the airport, quite accessible to supermarkets such as Wholefoods, Safeway, Costco, and to the Alamoana shopping center! Oh, the beach-side park was located just across the street.
The house was well equipped with ample supplies, including beddings with good linens, pots and pans, flatwares, and many more. Grilling around the pool in the evening, while swimming at the pool, shall stay long in our memory!
Guess what..... We decided to return to the property , hopefully in four years, to celebrate our grandson's college graduation as we've done this summer to celebrate Philip's high school graduation and to move on to a top-notch university.
Our family of nine adults filled the house completely and had lots of "move around" space. We have rented via VRBO many times in the past and never had a property that was as well stocked as this one - just outstanding - new washer/dryer, refrigerator as well as lots of glasses nice plates and all worked just fine. Just a short block away from park that has nice calm beach for our enjoyment but found our pool inviting as well. We utilized the guest house as well and glad we did as otherwise it would have been too small - great owner and the on site lady Linda was available in case of problem, overall we had a great 8 days and highly recommend the property!
The area surrounding the property has so many wonderful activities within walking distance. The very nice Kahala Hotel and Resort is just down the street and the brunch there is spectacular. Kahala beach is wonderful for relaxing walksin the morning. Kite surfers are in the ocean catching waves and are fascinating to watch as well. Our surrounding neighborhood is a great walking neighborhood to see the beautiful homes and manicured lawns and gardens.
