One-of-a-kind views showcasing the natural beauty of Downeast Maine
About Stacey Trubee
We made our first trip to Lubec in June 2013 and knew instantly that this was EXACTLY where we wanted to be. The natural, unspoiled beauty of the area and the gentle, simplicity of life here are a welcome respite from the everyday world. It's a place to unplug, recharge your batteries, and reconnect with family and friends while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Why Stacey Trubee chose Lubec
I have always loved nature and the outdoors and the minute we saw this property I knew it was what we had been searching for. The proximity to the water and views from within the home, on the deck, or at various spots around the property foster a strong sense of connection with nature. The enormous tides in the Bay of Fundy create an ever-changing landscape that is captivating to watch evolve.

A Quiet Escape
This is my third time staying at this home, and I've written past reviews. This year was a little different. There were some extremely wet and windy days that limited my outdoor activities, and these days helped me appreciate the true comfort that you find here. One day, I stretched out in the window seat (yes - you can fully stretch out in it!), read a book, watched the rain, and when the sun finally broke through the clouds, I napped there, in the sunlight. On another morning I wrapped myself in a blanket and sat in one of the chairs in the master bedroom and watched as the rain came down.
Of course, when the days are sunny there is plenty to do - hiking, kayaking, and exploring the towns in the area. Downeast is a beautiful part of Maine, and this property is ideally located.
I will admit that some of my best days were spent on the back porch or the elevated seating area that is set up in the rocks, enjoying the sun, watching the seals, loons and cormorants fish, drinking a beer and reading a book.
This place is where I go to rejuvenate. It's almost magical. I drive away on Saturday, refreshed and ready to return to the madness of life. I've been coming Downeast for nearly twenty years. You will not regret selecting this location. It is the very best.
Our second time staying at this property...stellar experience all around!
A little piece of Paradise
Very pleased. This is a beautiful property tucked away in a magnificent area of Maine. Everything exceeded our expectations.
Beautiful home on the water.
We had a wonderful family vacation in this home which is located on the water. We kayaked, read books, watched old movies , picked blueberries and just relaxed. We saw bald eagles, seals, deer and heard coyotes howl in the distance. Our only objection is that listed under amenities it lists a fireplace. We rent a house on the water every year and want either a fireplace or an outdoor pit. The fireplace in this home is closed off with a note to not use.
