Overview

About the property

Romantic bed and breakfast cottage secluded from neighbors on farmstead.

Set back from the road and main residence, the Cottage adjoins a 300 acre DNR conservancy, and is nestled amongst other buildings of our quiet hobby farm. It is the perfect setting for tranquility, romance and privacy.

Located just a half hour from all the city of Milwaukee has to offer, yet on the edge of quiet, rural Muskego, your suite gives you the best of the country while being close to the city. If you enjoy peace and quiet, and long for privacy, this is the place for you.

Your suite is a five minute walk from the spring nesting grounds of the Great Blue Heron, forgotten fishing holes and right next door to a DNR conservancy. Little Muskego Lake, Big Muskego Lake, Lake Denoon, Wind Lake and the Fox River are just a short drive away.

The secluded cottage includes romantic natural fireplace, extra large Jacuzzi, large romantic shower space, screened in gazebo with bonfire pit and extra comfortable queen size bed. Includes kitchenette with refrigerator, convection oven, and gas fired grill.

Adjacent to the cottage is a large recreation building including pool table and sitting space with TV and gaming. The hobby farm has alpaca's, horses, cats, dogs, chickens, and ducks.

Includes choice of breakfast or brunch served to your door. Let us know if you have any special dietary needs.

Amazing property with so much to do

  • 5 of 5

I had a great time with my boyfriend! So much to do and not enough time to do it. The owners were incredibly nice and gave us our space. We fed some alpacas and pet some horses! It's a great property.

Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the cottage and farm. The hosts were very nice, not at all intrusive, but there if you needed anything. Brunch everyday was great as well! We hope to stay there again.

Perfect Bed and Breakfast Cottage

  • 5 of 5

As soon as I entered this cottage, I realized grandma had considered every little detail imaginable to make my stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. From the fireplace loaded and ready to light, to the packets of bath salts leaning on the jacuzzi faucet, to the variety of coffee and teas in the kitchen cupboard - nothing was missing. I have severe allergies to chemicals and synthetic fragrances (candles) and usually break out in a rash from the chemicals used by hotels to clean the rooms and linens. All of the candles were capped and there were no synthetic fragrances (plug-ins or air fresheners) to make me miserable. I enjoyed everything about this visit, including the healthy and delicious food! My own grandmother couldn't have done a better job of providing such warm, welcoming hospitality. Highly recommend that anyone traveling to the Milwaukee and surrounding area book your stay here.

Incredible Wisc Get Away

  • 5 of 5

I CANNOT stress how much we enjoyed our stay at Grandma's Cabin, which is why I'm resorting to all caps in this review. The property is gorgeous and the perfect place to get away from the city and relax. Mike and Deb have perfected every detail, from the chocolates on the pillow to the bubble bath for the jacuzzi to the delicious breakfast they bring by in the morning. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks again, Deb and Mike! We will be back for sure!

Peace and Tranquility.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I wanted to have a weekend filled with peace and tranquility. Grandma's Cottage exceeded our expectations. Deb and Mike are two of the kindess people. We felt so welcome. Really enjoyed feeding the horses. So nice to get away from the city life for a while. The breakfast Deb prepared for us each morning was delicious. We will definitely be back.
