Situated on the first floor of a 16th Century building, this apartment, completely renovated in 2011, overooks a peaceful inner garden. Everything here contributes to create an elegant and refined space : Old beams on the ceiling, a clear oak parquet, a decorative fireplace, natural materials, an harmony of color in grey monochrome reinforced with “rose-fuchsia” notes, some family objects, books and guides available for our hosts, and on the walls, fine paintings. The kitchen and the living-room are a unique space, only separated by the table-bar where you take your meals. The bedroom is completely independent, furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed, bookshelves, valet and a desk. The apartment is equipped with : Ultra flat screen TV, Internet Wi-Fi, Telephone, 'Bose Sound Wave System', a fully equipped kitchen with many many cupboards and a lot of storage place. Well designed and maintained. The owners clearly take pride. Very convenient to metro and to restaurants and grocery stores.
We recently spent 2 1/2 months at this wonderful apartment. It was completely stocked with all of the items we required and perfectly decorated. In the heart of historic Paris on a quiet street, it was within easy walking distance to major sites, fabulous restaurants, shops, markets, jazz clubs and key metro stops. While it is not a large apartment, it easily accommodated us and 2 family members who visited briefly.
Christine and Yann were responsive to our every request during the booking process and our stay and provided a wealth of information regarding the apartment and Paris. Jean-Pierre, who manages the apartment for Christine and Yann, was extremely helpful upon our arrival and during our stay. Their top priority seemed to be our enjoyment of the apartment and our stay in Paris.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Paris for a short or long period of time. After exploring most of Paris, we did not find a better or more convenient place to stay.
This was our third stay, and we have already booked for November 2016. Obviously, we are very happy with the apartment.
Charming, cozy and beautiful, this lovely apartment was our home for 3 weeks. Looking out onto a peaceful courtyard, the apartment provided us with a comfortable haven to return to after sightseeing. The bed and bedding were more comfortable than ours at home! The pictures are exactly what the apartment looks like.
The central location was amazing - only 1 1/2 blocks to the Seine and Notre Dame, close to metro stations and buses and grocery stores. Eric Kayser bakery is also close which we frequented often! We often strolled along the Seine and over to Ile St Louis for dinner as it was so close. Walking to the Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens as well as the Marais was easy.
Christine and Yann were easy to communicate with from the very beginning and all the way through the booking process. We had an unfortunate accident while we were there which required some painting and Christine was very gracious in handling it.
I would highly recommend this apartment and will most definitely rent it again next time I'm in Paris. Thank you Christine and Yann for a most pleasant stay!
We adore this charming apartment! This place is darling, overlooking a quaint garden. Your thoughtfulness and care for this “home sweet home” had us smiling and beaming the minute we walked in the apartment. Merci beaucoup for the sweet touches~ the welcome card and wine! From the very first contact and throughout the arrangements, you have made us feel welcomed. We are grateful for your considerations and friendly ways. The feel and comfort of this place is so cheerful, cozy, and delightful. You are considerate with the amenities within this home and your book containing information about the amenities was very helpful. We also thank Jean Pierre and for your recommendation of Firstway, a private driving service. This lovely apartment is naturally quiet and perfectly located at this area of Paris. We look forward to our stay at your apartment next Spring! A bientôt!
My husband and I stayed in this clean, well designed apartment for two weeks. The owners clearly put a great deal of thought and effort into making sure everything you need, even for an extended stay, is in place. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for real cooking although the breakfast bar and stools are not comfortable seating for a full meal. There is plenty of storage, a comfy bed, a writing desk and charging centre. Figuring out the ultra modern oven, washing machine and TV system is a puzzle even with the instructions thoughtfully left by the owners. There is absolutely no street noise as the windows look onto a deep courtyard . The location is perfect; very near the heart of the city -Notre Dame cathedral, and handy for bus, metro and groceries.
A charming, quiet and elegant apartment, close to the Seine river and “Notre-Dame de Paris', “l’Île Saint-Louis” and “Saint-Germain des Prés”. This “left bank apartment” is strategically located in the center of Paris.
With its windows overlooking a peaceful inner garden, which is extremely rare in Paris, it offers an elegant, refined, cozy and quiet setting in which to rest after a day of busy activities.
Nearby the most famous monuments and museums of Paris, this is the place to be for the cultural life; with so many restaurants, bistros, terraces and boutiques, the place to be for the Parisian life, and with a quiet and secure environment, the place to stay and rest between two visits ....
It will be perfect for a couple on holidays or long professional stay, but it may as well welcome comfortably 4 persons for a short stay (one week).
