I don't know where to begin. Buildings are marked A,B,C & D. However, the unit numbers are on the inside of the building. So, after driving 5 hours and hauling luggage up and down stairs for 15 minutes in the unbearable heat, I finally had to call the rental company to find out where my unit was. They did not know. Once I found the unit - I was sorry I did. There is only seating for 2 people, on the couch. The two other chairs in the living room have concrete for cushions and are unusable. I ended up moving them to a corner in the bedroom just to keep them out of the way. Owner had 2 kitchen cabinets locked with a deadbolt, and also had beach chairs with bicycle chains and padlocks. I understand they may have had valuables they want secured - but it made me feel more like an intruder than a welcomed guest. And, saving the best for last, at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning, with no warning, 2 maintenance workers very casually let themselves into my rental. I was in the middle of dressing and was completely horrified. When I questioned the workers they rudely said "you were notified we were coming". I told them that I knew nothing and I immediately contacted the office. I was very rudely told that all renters were notified upon check-in SATURDAY that maintenance work would be done on Thursday. The two problems with this were #1 - I checked in on Wednesday and was told nothing about maintenance and #2 - it was Friday. They didn't even bother to apologize. On top of all that - unit had distinct musty smell, there is only 1 tv, in the living room, and it is tiny, master bath is the size of a broom closet and pool was closed. I was so disgusted with everything that I actually went home a day earlier than planned.
