About Steve Ferrante

Janine and Phil are both in Healthcare in Denver metro area Hospitals. We have had the good fortune of living in this great state and being able to travel all around the world and are avid campers, bringing our 5th wheel allover the Rocky Mountain area. We have seen many amazingly beautiful destinations, Estes Park is our special place to be.

Why Steve Ferrante chose Rocky Mountain National Park

My family and I have been camping all over Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota for over 15 years. Every time we drive into Estes Park we feel like we are home. We recently came the conclusion that we wanted to buy property in Estes that captured the essesence and the 'flavor' of the mountain experience in Colorado. When we found this little cozy cabin here is Estes we knew this would be our slice of heaven. We are proud of our getaway home and are very pleased and proud to be able to share it with you.

What makes this cabin unique

Just a few minutes walk to the heart of downtown Estes Park with shopping, restaraunts, and two wineries. Your getaway or Family vacation in this centrally located Private cabin will be unforgettable. Back to nature. Solitude. Simplicity. Escape. Romance. Self-suffiency. Nostalgia. Refuge. This Charming, Inviting Cabin can be your convenient home base for everything Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park have to offer. Being incredibly close to town you still feel very secluded on our nearly 1/2 Acre nestled away in the pine trees.

Guestbook comments from the manager

My husband and I stayed here for a few days after our wedding. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. The cabin was cozy and rustic and exactly what we wanted. We loved drinking coffee on the porch in the morning and using the hot tub at night! We would definitely rent the cabin again!!!

Excellent location

  • 4 of 5

The home is centrally located. Despite being in the woods, it's just a short walk to downtown. The home is well equipped and has several cozy seating places and details. Communication with the owner is good and check in is easy. I am giving it 4 stars for the following reasons: The bedrooms with the bunk bed is cramped and the upper bed is not really use-able due to the little headroom. Also, the furniture in the living room are well worn and sagging. The check out is tedious, as the owner requests that the towels are not only in the washer, but in the dryer. This means that all showers and dishes need to be washed about an hour before departure. You end up waiting for the washing machine to finish . .. Pair that with a 10 am check out (instead of the more customary 11 am), and it makes for a hectic morning.

Beautiful cabin with spectacular views!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was exactly as described, and everything was very clean. It was so nice to have all the amenities of home (full kitchen, multiple bedrooms, laundry, patio etc.). The cabin was beautifully decorated and had spectacular views of the mountains. The location was great, and within minutes we could be anywhere in Estes Park we wanted to be. The location was also excellent to visit Rocky Mountain National Park. If we are fortunate enough to visit Estes Park again, we will definitely try to stay at this cabin.

Fair View Cabin/Estes Park was wonderful

  • 5 of 5

The Far View Cabin in Estes Park was the last stop for us on a 2 week vacation to several national parks, and it made our visit to Rocky Mountain National Park that much more memorable! The cabin was fantastic - everything was as we had hoped it would be as far as location, accommodations, and amenities. We had visitors (Elk) one of the days and enjoyed the short walk into town. If we are out in that area again we will definitely see if it's available!

Great location, lovely stay

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time with four adults and two toddlers in the cabin. Easy to walk down town, and short drive into the park. Used and loved the hot tub every night. We cooked several meals in the cabin, the kitchen was very well-appointed and the safeway is very close. I think the description of the cabin is generally very accurate, the only caveat I would give is that if signs of wear and tear on the house will bother you, you may want to spend a little more on a new place, there is substantial crumbling of the concrete in the back patio and a few other things like that. This didn't interfere with our stay at all though, and I would recommend the cabin to friends.

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying at Farview Cabin. We appreciate your business and endeavor to make our home as comfortable as possible. We recently remodeled the kitchen and we hope you enjoyed the upgrade.

Perfect stay in a lovely home.

  • 5 of 5

After three weeks of travel we ended our holiday by staying the last three days at Steves, Far View Cabin. It has been absolutely perfect. The only problem is we have enjoyed our stay so much that we don't want to go home. The cabin is so homely and has so many extra little touches, it is obvious that it is well loved. It is immaculately clean , not a speck of dust anywhere. Every need has been provided for and it is only a short walk into town. Loved seeing all the wildlife that passed by the cabin, usually early morning or just before dusk.

We spent so much time either eating outside or soaking in the perfectly maintained hot tub.

Best sleep in three weeks, the beds are so comfortable and the fans keep the room cool.

We would recommend this cabin to anyone and definately hope to stay again.

Thank you
